One of the charms of provincial markets is the relatively fewer people browsing the wares. Manila markets are totally filled to the brim :D

Thanks for sharing. I'm keeping my eyes open for my cousins, I have 100s that live there ... My father lived at "75 Dulong Bayan Street, Baras, Rizal 1970" before coming to the US in 1928. My cousins live there now. Glad you are enjoying your time there.

@@PHExpatPrepper That's true! I do genealogy as a hobble and the oldest relative my that I found is Marcelino Ramirez born in 1813 in the Baras area. One year in the early 1800s there was 30 babies born in one year and 1/3 were related to me. So maybe I'm still related to about 1/3 of the people in Baras ... Wow!
