Proving Richat Structure Was Under the Ocean in 2min (Covered in SALT) Atlantis & Eye of the Sahara

Definitive proof that the Richat Structure (also referred to as the Eye of the Sahara) was indeed obliterated by the Ocean...and far more recently than what was thought to be possible. Is the Richat Structure (which is located in remote desert of Mauritania) the long lost location of the Lost City of Atlantis?

Think about it: If a Mega Tsunami indeed ran over an ancient civilization located at the Richard its safe to say that everything was watched into the Atlantis so very unlikely to find any signs of some ancient structural edification there given the Magnitude lofcthe erosion left behind by some aquatic mega event throughout west Africa. That said a Mega Tsunami would pushed a grand scske if items inland before regressing to tje ocean so thee is a huge chancr that there jay he ancient ruins under the sand to the left of Mauritania

Jimmy, your theory is very good and I trust what you're saying. I am from West Africa and I also studied West African history. However, I think you tend to repeat yourself too much by only discussing the location. To make your theory more convincing and compelling, you should talk more about the following; 1) Atlantis had gold in abundance and historians agree that the ancient Ghana Empire, which was in Mauritania, was the largest exporter of gold in the Middle Ages. The Kings of Ghana built an extensive trade network with the Phoenicians. 2) Mansa Musa, the ancient King of Mali was said to be the richest man in the world. He was in fact, a Mande speaker and descendant of the ancient Ghana empire (which was the Atlantian empire in Mauritania that traded gold with the Phoenicians). 3) Even more compelling is the fact that the Atlantians were said to have been enslaved by the Libyan Amazons (Berbers). Please read Diodorus Siculus' work. He was an ancient Greek writer like Herodotus who wrote extensively about the Libyan Amazon invasion of Atlantis and how the Atlantians became slaves; "Setting out from the city of Cherronesus, the account continues, the Libyan Amazons embarked upon great ventures, a longing having come over them to invade many part of the inhabited world. The first people against whom they advanced, according to the tale, was the Atlantians, the most civilized men among the inhabitants of those regions, who dwelt in a prosperous country and possessed great cities; it was among them, we are told, that mythology places the birth of the gods, in the regions which lie along the shore of the ocean, in this respect agreeing with those among the Greeks who relate legends, and about this we shall speak in detail a little later.'' Upon entering the land of the Atlantians they defeated in a pitched battle the inhabitants of the city of Cernê, as it is called, and making their way inside the walls along with the fleeing enemy, they got the city into their hands; and desiring to strike terror into the neighbouring peoples they treated the captives savagely, put to the sword the men from the youth upward, led into slavery the children and women, and razed the city.” Funny enough, when you check Mauritania's history, it confirms that the Libyans (Berbers) did in fact invade and enslave the locals. Mauritania is literally slavery's last stronghold in Africa today. 4) Let's not forget that the Yoruba God Olokun is the same as the Greek God Poseidon. The Yoruba tale of how Olokun was created is the exact same as how Poseidon was created. Even Diodorus blatantly told us that the Gods came from Atlantis and the Greek Gods were the same as the Atlantian Gods; “But since we have made mention of the Atlantians, we believe that it will not be inappropriate in this place to recount what their myths relate about the genesis of the gods, in view of the fact that it does not differ greatly from the myths of the Greeks. 2 Now the Atlantians, dwelling as they do in the regions on the edge of the ocean and inhabiting a fertile territory, are reputed far to excel their neighbours in reverence towards the gods and the humanity they showed in their dealings with strangers, and the gods, they say, were born among them. And their account, they maintain, is in agreement with that of the most renowned of the Greek poets” With such compelling evidence, this will shut all the naysayers up. And thank you for your extensive research into West Africa's history.

Lastly, forgot to mention that Diodorus speaks about a city in Atlantis called "Cerne." Mark Cartwright's article on world history dot org places Cerne in Mauritania. His article is called "The Gold Trade of Ancient & Medieval West Africa." Isn't it funny that mainstream academia acknowledges that Cerne existed but refuses to acknowledge that Atlantis existed? 😁

@@alisarpin1733 Weren't the Berbers from Atlantis? As in the Berber King Atlas?
@alisarpin1733
@alisarpin1733 2 жыл бұрын
@@sallybekeson1684 King Atlas, he was a Mauri, not a Berber. They were the ancient people who lived in the region before the Libyan Berbers arrived. The word "Berber" means Barbarian and was used for the Libyans (who attacked and enslaved the Atlantians). The Mauri, on the other hand, were citizens of Atlantis and they lived in the North close to the Atlas mountains, whilst the Mande speakers (also citizens of Atlantis) lived in the south. The Libyans had their own lands to the East near Egypt, immediately south of Greece. The Atlantis coastal areas belonged to the Atlantians. Racially and genetically, the Mauri were a midway people between the Libyan Berbers (who were white) and the Mande speakers (who were black Africans). Mauri means dark in Greek. However, the Mauri were not as dark as the Mande speakers of the south and were not as white as the Libyan Berbers that lived in the East. The truth is that the real Mauri people no longer exist. The Berbers of today are actually genetically more Libyan than they are Mauri. That's why they are called Berbers. The closest we have of the very old Mauri is the people of present day Mauritania. Nevertheless, it wasn't actually the Mauri who controlled Atlantis. It was the Mande speakers who were agriculturalists and gold miners. The Gods came from the Mande speakers. All the ancient Kings were Mande speakers. The gold trade was controlled by the Mande speakers. Mansa Musa was also a Mande speaker.

that is an interesting side history on atlantis of which not very many people know of. so, there were other ancient writers who knew of atlantis?
@alisarpin1733
@alisarpin1733 2 жыл бұрын
@@dilbertfirestorm4851 Diodorus, Herodotus, and Plato all acknowledged that Atlantis was real. I don't know of any other writers who talked about Atlantis. Nevertheless, when you start digging deeper into West African history, you'll understand that Mauritania was 100% Atlantis. Plato's descriptions were the most informative but Diodorus' work sealed the deal. Plato talked about the abundance of gold and the massive trade that was taking place. But Diodorus' writing about the Atlantians being enslaved by the Libyans just took it to another level. Diodorus' work was written in 60 BC, proving that the Atlantians were still alive by then (and are still with us today). Diodorus was clearly writing about the Berber conquest of southern Mauritania. Furthermore, the trade the Atlantians had with the Carthaginians (Phoenicians) was a big clue for me. Herodotus said; ""The Carthaginians tell of a place in Libya outside the Pillars of Hercules inhabited by people to whom they bring their cargoes. The Carthaginians unload their wares and arrange them on the beach; then they reboard their boats and light a smoky fire. When the native inhabitants see the smoke, they come to the shore and, after setting out gold in exchange for the goods, they withdraw. The Carthaginians disembark and examine what the natives have left there, and if the gold appears to them a worthy price for their wares, they take it and depart; if not, they get back on their boats and sit down to wait while the natives approach again and set out more gold, until they satisfy the Carthaginians that the amount is sufficient. (Book 4. 197) Whenever "beyond the pillars of Hercules" is mentioned in ancient texts, always know that you're heading over in a Western direction because the Greeks were the ones telling the tale from their location. So, when Herodotus talks about the Carthaginians trading "gold with native people who lived beyond the pillars of Hercules," it sounds like the gold trade of the Ancient Ghana Empire that was in present-day Mauritania. Also, from what I understand, Carthage was a Phoenician colony (and the colonisers came from Lebanon). Here in West Africa, the Lebanese have been living and trading for thousands of years. The trade started with agriculture, gold and then went on to slaves in the Middle Ages. The fact that the Lebanese are so confident to come here and trade gave me the biggest clues that they descended from the ancient Phoenicians who had been trading with Mande speaking Kings who came from agriculturalists communities. The natives presented all types of seeds and minerals to the Phoenicians and I believe the natives themselves also had their own maritime trade and sometimes sailed alongside the Phoenicians. There's also a very high possibility that both groups reached the Americas. The Mande speakers like the Soninke were the indigenous people of present-day Mauritania. They were ones who had very rich kings like Mansa Musa. But strangely enough, they were also the ones who became slaves after the Libyan Berbers invaded Mauritania. I'm 100% convinced Atlantis was present-day Mauritania.

Archeology, I think, suffers even more than most other fields of academia. Their job is literally guess work. They just make the best inference they can based on information available. Problem is, new information comes to light. But it's a lot easier for archeologists to deny things because, again, their work is in the speculative. We will NEVER know EXACTLY what happened in the past. NEVER. Their ideas are given so much credence simply because they were first. Then all the authoritative archeologists that peer-review papers basically scratch each other's backs and only support things that support their established theory(s). That way they get the royalty money from publishers, they continue giving lectures, they keep selling books, go on book tours, and so on. If the paradigm shifts too hard, they lose it all AND look a bit foolish.

The flow lines and ripples just stood out so obviously to me but watching this vid is the first time I have seen anyone else mention it. The direction the water travels both toward the Richat Structure and the opposite direction toward Gaza and the Nile can both be traced back to the same origin: Mt Etna, known for its cataclysmic eruptions one said to cause tsunamis of "waves a mile high". You're right on about this but in addition to this, it's not necessary that atlantis absolutely *must have* been *at* sea level, as they mention a canal going from the sea. Today we use locks to match elevations in canals, and regularly use large rivers to reach between inland freshwater sea ports and the outer ocean. A good example is the system of locks that leads from the mouth of the Columbia and Snake Rivers in the Pacific Northwest, leading to the Columbia, which is basically a manufactured slow-moving puddle all the way to an inland seaport in Idaho - and this is one of the main ports for the midwestern US! Just pointing out some of this mega-engineering we have today, it's not a stretch to imagine something similar at smaller scale with Atlantis and the Reichat. I still believe that this area raised in elevation significantly, I'm just adding to the case IMO that the sea level bit isn't the *most important* aspect. Also, they found pleistocene freshwater fossils *in* the mud deposits *at* the richat. So it may have been more of a freshwater ecosystem at the time of Atlantis, and the salt and other damage is mainly from the cataclysmic wave.

If you read Immanuel Velikovsky's books, it can shed light on why many of the ancient unknown cataclysms happened as it was not a local event to Earth but due to solar system wide chaos caused by Sun capturing planets. Captured planets have very different axial tilt compared to Sun and Jupiter. Physicist Wal Thornhill talks about this in Star Proto-Saturn video.

Speaking from a science and engineering background, Velikovsky's theories don't hold up. They are very interesting on the surface but are very easy to disprove using very basic physics. Carl Sagan devoted an appendix in his book Broca's Brain to challenging Velikovsky's theories that quite easily put the nail in that coffin using simple physics if you are interested. Peace.

As much as I love all of Randall’s Other stuff…I’m still in Jimmy’s camp on this. To me Plato’s word use of “outside the pillars” means relatively close and not halfway across the ocean along with the rest of the unknown world which technically is outside the pillars. Also I believe the unique DNA and location of the Basque people (and their claim) if true would make them survivors of the sinking and I don’t believe there would have been as many survivors if it was out in the middle of the Atlantic as Randall suggests. IMHO FWIW

@@henryknox4511 You missed my point about Plato's choice of words. My opinion is that Plato would have described it as being in the middle of the ocean if that is where it was located. Here's an analogy (if you know the St. Louis Arch...the gateway to the west)? So if you were going to describe where Kansas City was, you'd probably say outside the St. Louis Arch. However, if you were going to describe where California was...and say outside the St. Louis Arch...although technically correct (CA is outside the Arch) however it is meaningless. Thus my opinion is that a great writer like Plato would have described it differently and more accurately as the middle of the ocean. If Atlantis was in the middle of the ocean, everyone would have known it as being in the middle of the ocean and again, for Plato to have described it as such.

His explanation is about 40 hours long and difficult to even summarize. He fails to consider name matching in the story (Atlas for example) and description matching of waterfalls North of the city as well as elephants being present. I could go on and on. Sure Randall can show there was an 'island' where the tectonic plates meet recently, and it was 'beyond the pillars of Hercules' but that's about it.

They didn't have to make the rings to make it a city. it could've been there for a long time before that. The translations of Plato's measurements have led to many different 'sizes' for Atlantis. Randall's use of Stadia ends up with a very small size for Atlantis which is very unlikely given it's importance in the world at that time. Important cities in the world tend be be heavily populated and large.

@@jamesleadley7872 'Randall's use of Stadia ends up with a very small size for Atlantis ' True 'very unlikely given it's importance in the world at that time. Important cities in the world tend be be heavily populated and large.' You're making too many assumptions, your going in with the assumption that there had to be large cities. Large back the could've meant a million, large cities now are mega cities so 10million plus. There are too many assumptions being made, no one knows the population. we can only speculate the population if we know the size but like you said, the size is up for debate. You could make the argument that back then populations never grew so large because it would've been difficult to manage. we can accomodate for large cities due to indoor plumbing, running water, electricity n such. We can make assumptions based on plato saying trade flourished in the area but again, it would be a subjective take on it
