I was like that when I first started working out. I did it because I was in Iraq and it was to past time. When I got back to the states, I feel off HARD! I kept this habit of getting in shape when I got deployed and eventually fall off when I returned back home. It wasn’t until COVID that I experienced THE WORST depression of my life. I was skinny as hell and felt weak mentally and it damn sure shown physically. I noticed ppl treated me differently in a subtle disrespectful way. I got my CDL and started driving trucks & started getting back pain. I started going to the gym gaining weight and my anxiety and depression practically vanished. I noticed ppl treat you like a celebrity when you’re in shape. The world treats you how YOU TREAT YOU! I’ve come to the conclusion that BEING FIT IS A KEY INGREDIENT IN MASCULINITY! My clothes fit great, I FEEL MORE STRONG and when I lack in the gym, I get anxiety. It’s my minds way of saying you’re lacking. People NOTICE YOUR POSTURE AND PHYSIQUE BEFORE ANYTHING! Think about how we look at women, they’re doing the same thing in reverse. Guys overcompensate with money and material shit not being in a MASCULINE FRAME IS PRICELESS!
