Sir Once u have said that provision is for known liability whereas reserve is for unknown liability. Then what about specific reserve because they are also created for specific Liabilities like debenture redemption reserve. If anyone have any solution to this question then plz make a reply. It's necessary

Reserve is made for uncertain liability… its isn’t made for a fixed or expected liability but on the other hand provision is made for expected liability … specific reserve is for future liability not expected liability … its may happen or not but in case of something that has to happen in future like depreciation or doubtful debts (bad debts) we make provision
