Provision ESP32 over BLE with Arduino Library (Mac/Win)

This video demonstrates how to use the Deploy the Fleet BLE Provisioning sample repo to provision your ESP32 device over BLE using the Espressif sample app. It allows you to use the Arduino coding style and has everything configured to get your project set up in less than 20 minutes. Had problems with the VSCode build and flash so I copy-pasted the main.cpp code in a schetch in ArduinoIDE and flashed an esp32 but keep getting logs : Disconnected. Connecting to the AP again... Waiting for Wi-Fi credentials. Open app to get started. Disconnected. Connecting to the AP again... Disconnected. Connecting to the AP again... Waiting for Wi-Fi credentials. Open app to get started. And the Espressif BLE Provisioning app is not picking it up of course.

If you are getting the Disconnected over and over it sounds like you may have an issue with the WiFi connection to the router. Also, try idf.py erase-flash to clear all stored credentials so you have a fresh start.

@@BogdanN-mp9tx Did you clone the repo with --recursive. I have recently tested the repo and everything was working fine. If you did clone with recursive, what error message are you getting?

There are a ton of ways you could accomplish that however this video only covers how to get through the provisioning process to get it connected to WiFi. Through this process you can set the Proof of Possession to whatever you want which is like having a password. Once connected, however you would need an entirely separate mechanism to connect to your ESP32 from a phone app. In creating that flow you could require a password.
