MASTERFUL !! The Montmartre was extra special and took me back to 1967 when as a young teen my parents took me to Paris and allowed me to wander alone with my camera there. I am pleased to note that the Wimin are all even more radiant and desirable when in Paris. And I recall that then as now I feel compassion for the artists about whom I always wondered how they could live on the meager sustenance of the occasional customer and their dream of freedom as purely artistic souls. Thanks again - you ARE the best.

I know you could not show every shop window but what you did do was great.

Prowalk Tours takes us on another trip through history with a visit to Montmartre! We didn't have time to see it when we went to Paris, so it's on our list if we ever go back. The best walking tours shows us again why he's the best- he takes his time, he stops when there's something to see, and we are immersed in another place.

Yeah, I think everyone is going a little stir crazy..at the least. We just shutdown again here in Naples. There are protests out in the streets and people can't take another shutdown. There is usually a big outdoor market by our house each Friday and the police prevented them from setting up last Friday and people were pretty upset and protested in the streets. I don't know what the answer is, but...I don't see another lockdown going too well.

a lot of french village are actually more authentic and elegant than montmartre as there are no tourists but only local people in them. I'm thinking of the south of france villages (not Les Baux-de-Provence or Gordes which are beautiful but way too crowded), and close to paris you can find Giverny or Gerberoy

@@richardbittencourt8515 Good morning, trying to get my head round all the requirements for going from UK to Paris and back in September. It's coming back that seems to be the problem. somehow I've got to fill in a passenger locator form and print it out which means wasting predious time in an internet cafe, then find a place to get a PCR test. So frustrating and confusing, but I'm not cancelling this time. Luckily, I have friends to help.
