Lead singers mic is too low against everything else. Singers sound like they lost a bar bet and had to get behind the mic. Learn to convey power. Checking out other videos by you (picking on the singers) The Trooper: Much better. Mic is still too low for the singer. Dream Warriors: Stating to see this is the same show. mic for the singer too low. lead dude - relax with it. Don Dokken is hard to hit with this song and it does not sound like a fit for you. Also - breathe. Foolin' - other singer. It is hard to match another's voice - especially in the higher octaves. Adapt it to your own or leave it alone. Sounds like a bad frat night. Caught in the Middle - Honestly, am not familiar with this song. I did like the vocals though. Don't Talk to Strangers - First part. . .yeah no. Second part - a bit on part (actually a bit more that that). I like the chops though. We're you a bit drunk? Last in Line: A lot better for this singer's rendition. He's got chops. Needs to not scream, drop and pull from his diaphragm. Still way better performance than before (sounds like the sound guy turned up the mic) Master of Puppets: From the short bits I listened to, the singer nailed it but the mic was way too low. Also, get in the forefront. Power: Everything was weak here. This was the last song I listened to and I actually expected the two singers to easily pull this off. It's like they were at a pizza party and they notice all that was left was light beer. My suggestions (take it from some idiot on the internet) DON'T: DREAM WARRIORS, FOOLIN' (For Dokken, "Breaking the Chains". maybe "Don't Lie To Me'. Actually "In My Dreams" might not be bad. For Def Leppard "Rocket". You can do "Pour Some Sugar on Me" but everyone else does it. If you want to go REALLY old school, "Sorrow is a Woman") Dio is weird. Imagine power from a clarinet player as that is what he is. Listen to "Sitting in a Dream" for a bit of help here. Also, RJD has a finality but fluidity in how he speaks verses. Metallica is Metallica. That said, some of their songs are a bit interesting vocally ("Until It Sleeps" comes to mind) Still. On a side note, "Trust" by Megadeth is fun. Helloween: This one I think with a bit of practice you can easily do well. It is a fun song. That said, songs you may wish to pursue (trying to think of fun ones) "Stranger in a Strange Land" by Iron Maiden "Mean Streak" by Y&T "Rock Me" - Great White Hardest part about doing vocals for any song is learning where they take breaths. Non-metal songs that prove this are "Amish Paradise" by Weird Al and "Mr. Jones" by Counting Crows. But I am just a drunk behind a keyboard. As long as the crowd has fun, who cares. Oh, and slap your sound guy. Best of luck to you.
