great job putting out a fire and than later figering out how to use the product. Too bad support sucks.. Curious if you have continued to use it? I am debating on this or trying or getting the tripod mount where the motor in on the top. The bottom mount allows for a larger mirror ball so I am leaning toward that. TY

I did use this at a NYE gig and it worked fabulously. It was also on a stage and sitting on top of the stand, so it was high and shone nicely.

I’m using the Eurolite Stand Mount for Mirror balls with Motor also on top of a gravity stand. Works nice and quick setup. Greets from Germany

I've had one of those in the past of an American distributor and thought it was pretty cool! Cheers 🥂

Can you make a video about how you started to learn to DJ? Also, is DJ'ing a saturated market already? I'm also curious why you have chosen to pursue DJing videos over making software engineering content. Sincerely, a CS major .
@DJDarylBennett10 ай бұрын
I've been performing music longer than I've been interested in software development. So probably the majority of the skills of DJing I've obtained thru the years of being in a band. Such as creating setlists, reading the room, setting up sound and lighting equipment, running a music business, booking gigs, etc... also some of my old band mates DJ as well as play music so they introduced me to it and taught me a lot. Taking my business to where it is today, was a lot of business books, surfing FB groups, KZbin channels like this one. DJing is extremely saturated, but there's always room for quality and talent in any market. People asked me questions about light programming, and I just made videos to help explain things. And I just kept making videos lol. I may take these skills and make software engineering content.

Pro X is the worst I’ve had nothing but horrible customer experience. The gabe owner guy is beyond rude and careless to customers.

Wish I could say my experience was better 😞

I met a the owner at NAMM a while back, he was an A**Hole. Anyways i purchased the same mirror ball set up and also found myself with the same issue , its been collecting dust in my garage for several months, thanks for the video.

On a stage that ball is going to wobble every move you make. Keep it on the floor.

I was worried about that too, but the stand and stage combo was pretty sturdy. There was minor wobble when I jumped up and down, but it was acceptable

I was thinking of adding 2 of these. 1 on each side of the booth. Is that overkill? Would 1 suffice?

Totally up to you! I've seen some setups with multiple disco balls that I liked. Personally I think disco balls are nostalgic of the 70s they usually just had 1.

1rpm is the right speed. The slower the better. I’m not sure how I feel about the bottom mount. It would solve a lot of logistical problems, but I’m concerned about the look. I have seen mirror ball stands. They look really nice, but still don’t raise the mirror ball up as high as I’d like. Great job rolling with the punches and producing a great show.

Looks are highly subjective! I personally like this compared to a bunch of the other solutions, but thank you for sharing your opinion!

@@DJDarylBennett Not saying it’s wrong. There’s definitely more ways to accomplish the same result. I’ve also seen mirror balls hung in terrible ways. I am actually going to look at the bottom mount option a little more. Like I said, I think it solves a lot of logistical problems. You’re always very innovative with your productions. Kuddos

@@jeremymiller6635 I'm not offended in the slightest if you like other mirror ball displays better than this one! Personally, I think hanging from the ceiling above the dance floor is the best look but isn't always feasible. Thank you!
