I was stunned as well when I saw the price. I expected it to be 900 to 1200 especially not having some sort of built in LED lighting feature. As usual prices will go down as early implementers like @DJKWICK flip the bill and the company recoups its R7D cost so that buyers like myself can get it at a lower price and with a lighting feature in version 2.

How wide is the podium? Can you rack mount normal sized stuff like a power conditioner, or cordless mic receivers?

Hello DJ Bruce, the neck of the podium is not 19'' inches wide to rackmount but you can place smaller things like batteries for you wireless mic, wireless mics, smaller gear ETC. underneath the controller its wider to place a DSP maybe velcro it down so it doesn't slide around in transport. hope this helps. if you need further assistance feel free to reach out to us at [e-mail] Thx

@@idjnow-gear-up They do make 1/2 rack power conditioners. receivers are 1/2 rack as well. Just mount them one on top of the other. They make 1/2 rack drawers and sliding shelves too. Bigger question is if loaded, would it fit in the road case with the base. The base and podium share the road case and seems like part of the base sets into the space you'd be filling with gear. I know that was a lot. Been really contemplating hard on this one!

Can you set this up outside on grass or is it best for it to be on surface level asphalt or concrete? Can you put your wireless mics in the console and leave them in there? Can you run cabling thru the console and leave it in there? Can this support the rane one? Thx

Hello DJ iShine, its best to be on a leveled surface. you can snake through the cable below the controller and down the neck of the stand on the interior. you can place your wireless mic either underneath the controller or below on the shelfs provided on the stand. as for the the rane one yes its supported but you will need this additional piece here is the link for it: www.idjnow.com/prox-xzf-dj-raneone-w-plate.html if you need a quote for both please let me know. Concerned about mounting receivers in podium and it still fitting in road case with the base. Someone needs to try this and do a mod review. I'd be willing if they send it to me.

I use an external mixer (Yamaha MG10XU) with my DDJ SX3 . Why does none of these podiums allow a side space for an external mixer? Inputs are on the top, so the shelves underneath on this podium will not work.

Hello Ernie, first time users about 7-10 min and experienced users about 4-6 mins once your inside the place with all your cases in place and that's from opening the case including your controller. and yes it's a demo video so for it not to be long we had to speed up and slightly edit. hope this helps Thx

$1500 is steep! Imo to many road cases for such a simple idea besides where do you put your personal stuff? I get it…. it’s a show piece as a mobile DJ I love having a facade you could hide so much stuff behind there btw there is no doubt it’s a sexy unit but not practical for mobile DJ

I built my own out of 1 1/2 sheets of birch plywood. Bought some threaded gas pipe for $30 at my local Home Depot to use for my laptops and all it cost me was $260 with paint This has the biggest ripoff price tag I’ve ever seen.
