As a Domino's employee, I can speak to a lot of things in this video: - Domino's doesn't really have 50 items. Most of it is the exact same stuff just dressed up differently. - The Domino's near your house screwed up your orders a ton. Domino's food quality is entirely dependent on who's working, and if the employees are undertrained (and they often are) your food will often come out wrong or not very good. However, if you get a Domino's that actually cares about your food, Domino's can be pretty good. - You got the ultimate pepperoni on the gluten free crust as well. The Domino's probably screwed that up. Also, the gluten free crust is indeed surprisingly good. It's very crunchy, but also chewy if you're into that. However, if you actually need gluten free food, don't get it. Domino's has an unbelievable amount of cross contamination. - The salads are terrible. Just don't get them. - If you order the deep dish pan crust, ALWAYS order it well done. The oven works on a timer and doesn't have nearly enough time to cook the pizza all the way through. It makes a world of difference. - The New York Style pizza is just our pizza dough stretched slightly thinner so it's floppy. There's no difference in the dough we use for the normal pizza. The other difference is that the normal hand-tossed pizzas get this garlic oil stuff on the crust and the new york style pizzas don't. Some people really like it, some people find it gross. If you worked at Domino's, you'll probably think it's gross. And we slather it on EVERYTHING. - Getting the thin crust is the safest way to get consistent quality on your crust. The thin crust and the gluten free crust come to us premade and we just top them up while the hand tossed, new york, and pan crust we stretch out by hand, so there's a lot more room for inconsistency. It also tends to bubble up a ton and you can get some pretty egregious bubbles on your pizzas if the workers aren't paying attention and don't want to bother remaking it. - The reason your loaded tater tots were really crispy is because the cheese on the outside of the tater tots gets cooked a lot more than cheese on top of the tater tots. That's more of a quality control thing than anything else. In terms of what cheese is used, we put cheddar, provolone, and Alfredo sauce on it. I'd recommend just not getting Alfredo sauce on it and dipping it in marinara sauce. - Your marinara sauce was hot because driver's leave it in the delivery bag on top of your pizza. We don't heat the sauces at all at the store. - The spinach and feta pizza is cooked with alfredo sauce on top of the pizza, that's why it was so messy. - They screwed up and put olives on your deluxe which doesn't get olives, but screwed up again and didn't put olives on your extravaganza pizza which does. The extravaganza is the grossest pizza because we basically throw a bunch of toppings haphazardly onto a pizza and cover it with cheese. Some locations use the cheese that falls into the collection trays and gets mixed with the other ingredients for the extravaganza. The cheese isn't sellable otherwise and it's the most expensive ingredient, so we try not to waste it. I would never recommend ordering it. - The philly steak is the first topping that we put on the philly steak pizza, so it gets covered by all the other toppings and the cheese. However, it looks like your Domino's screwed up again and didn't put enough on yours. The philly steak is one of the more expensive ingredients and we already don't put very much. - The reason we put green pepper on the hawaiian pizza is because we used to put roasted red peppers on it instead. The roasted red peppers were much better, but Domino's stopped using them to simplify the menu so they were lazy and replaced it with green peppers. It's been very unpopular so most people ask to have them taken off. - The chicken alfredo is only noodles, alfredo sauce, and chicken. You can usually add more toppings to it and it'll stay the same price if you use the right coupons. I'd recommend adding some asiago or cheddar cheese or asking them to put some of the buffalo sauce on it. - I'm genuinely surprised you liked the wings so much. All we do is bake them in the same oven we use to make the pizza and put different sauces on them. We don't toss or do anything special to them. They're also very easy to make so they're impossible to screw up. The wings are also much better if you order them double cooked. Most of the time they will lose their crispness before they get delivered. It takes longer but it's worth it in my opinion. - The sandwiches are all terrible and we hate making them. Very few of them come with sauce on them, so they're always super dry and salty. They're a giant pain in the ass to make so they're usually half-assed. That being said, the chicken parmesan and pineapple jalapeno sandwiches are the best ones because they actually have sauce on them. For all the other sandwiches, you pretty much NEED dipping sauces to eat them with. - The cheesy breads are pretty much impossible to mess up, so they're always good. They're made with the exact same dough that we use to make the pizza, All we do is cover it in an ungodly amount of cheese and garlic oil. - The tater tots we sell are really bad; they're super bitter and taste like burnt oil no matter what you do to them. They come to us that way in a bag and we can only bake them in the oven, so there's nothing we can do to fix that. - The bread bites are really good and pretty addictive if you put enough of the garlic oil and parmesan cheese on them. It looks like your Domino's didn't put enough. If you know someone who works at Domino's, ask them to cook the bites with some asiago cheese on top of them. It elevates them so much. - The only difference between the garlic bread twists and the parmesan bread twist is that one gets the grated parmesan cheese on it. Other than that they're exactly the same, and there's no reason to order the garlic bread twists. They're literally just a worse version of the parmesan bread twist. - The boneless chicken is terrible, it's basically a glorified chicken nugget with more breading. We don't put any sauce on them either. They're also incredibly overpriced so I would never recommend ordering them. - The cinnamon bread sticks are better if you get more of the cinnamon sauce on it. It looks like they didn't give you enough. - The marbled cookie brownie is also really good. If you can, ask them to put the cinnamon sauce on top of it. It'll blow your mind. - Yes, we are supposed to put marinara sauce on the chicken parm sandwich. They didn't put any on yours. - The speciality chicken is just our boneless chicken covered in toppings. It's not particularly good, and it's the same price as the boneless chicken, so you might as well order it if you want the boneless chicken. - The chicken bacon ranch sandwich has the ranch put on the sandwich before it's cooked in the oven. It completely kills any ranch flavor, so if possible you should ask to have the ranch put on the sandwich after it's cooked. - They forgot the habanero sauce on your Jalapeno Pineapple sandwich. It's much better with it. - The lava cakes are easily one of the best items. If you order one and cancel your order, the crew gets to eat them for free and you will always have a fight in the store for who gets to eat them. Don't be afraid to call your Domino's back if your order isn't correct. We have a very generous policy when it comes to mistakes and we will usually send out remade food for free as long as you're polite about it. If you're rude to us or don't tip, WE REMEMBER

I have worked Domino's before, here to fill you in on some of your concerns and questions. Gonna try to address them in order. -Your pepperoni pizza looks to be Well Done, which just means that it's pushed back into the conveyor belt oven. -The gluten free crust IS actually very good here. Overpriced however, in my opinion. It belongs in the Mix and Match special, if I were to have my way about it, as that would encourage it to sell more. -The garlic sauce in the dip cup is just alright, the actually GREAT garlic sauce is what we use on the handtoss crusts. Yes, it is a different sauce. It is absurdly good, ask very nicely for a drizzle of that on your pizza next time you order carryout. -If you like veggie pizza, it's a good veggie pizza. If you don't, then you don't. -The salads are only good when they are free for us, and that's because we have access to all sorts of extra toppings we can add to it, including spinach. Otherwise, it's just a very cheap and lackluster salad. If you have your own toppings to add at home, then maybe. This goes for both options. -New York style is great, thinner crusts better enhances the flavors. The trick is if you order a large pizza, for example, we use a medium dough to stretch it thinner. Also gets two types of cheeses, regular pizza cheese blend and provolone. (Pan pizza also comes with the extra provolone too, on the subject of cheeses pizzas auto-get) -yeah that thin crust is gonna be a bit floppy and less crisp. The more toppings, particularly veggies, the less the dough gets to cook and crisp up. Fewer toppings, better crisp. Depends on if that's what you want or not. A nice, kwisp ultimate pepperoni pizza (comes with extra extra pepperoni and shredded parm asiago) is just great on a thin. Consider adding black olives, nothing more than one topping at least. If you asked for this pizza you got well done, it would have that crisp you are looking for. -The tots could have worked better. Would have also tasted less burnt had you ate less of the burnt cheese ends. Normally, the burnt edges are clipped off with the pizza cutter to make it look neater. The Philly tots are a decent choice. -...why would you dunk a BBQ pizza into a marinara sauce...? That was just a poor decision. Flavors clash. -your chicken bacon ranch and your spinach feta were dropped. The chicken bacon ranch uses ranch for the sauce, not a white alfredo sauce. The spinach feta does use a white Alfredo sauce. -Again, the more toppings, the less cooking that crust gets. You usually wanna get extravaganzas Well Done. -Buffalo chicken pizza is mid. Add something to it like bacon, onion, jalapeno, black olive, something -The philly steak pizza puts the steak under all the shredded cheese because otherwise it burns easily. While it's not impossible you may have been skimped, usually it's just hiding under cheese. Also, no sauce, just uses american cheese on the bottom for a gooey cheese that's not really a sauce. -The Honolulu Hawaiian pizza used to use roasted red peppers instead of green, but we discontinued roasted red peppers due to lack of orders with it. Didn't sell enough. -The garlic bread twists are okay, better with the dips. Also goes great with that marinara dipping cup you wasted on bbq pizza. Garlic parmesan flavored bread dunked in marinara sauce really ties it together. -My complaint about our chicken alfredo is we don't put enough of it in the bowl. Otherwise its alright. My personal fave way to enjoy pasta is chicken alfredo, add spinach, bacon, onion, and some of that garlic drizzle. For pizza, it's the same stuff, but add black olives and light garlic parm sauce with the alfredo, add provolone cheese using a pan or new York. Especially good on a thin crust, just cook a little longer. -The wings are pretty decent, albeit small. They are fairly cheap though! -We don't add salt on our end, that philly meat is just salty on its own, it comes to us like that. -Yeah, I wish we had more seasoning we could add, some toppings just don't have enough flavoring, so the primavera suffers. -Bacon cheesy tots are the best tots in my opinion. Sounds like you got shorted a bit of cheese and sauce. -The cheesy breads get the good garlic oil drizzled on top. Bacon jalapeno is best. -The garlic parm bites get the good garlic oil drizzled on top. All the flavor is in the garlic sauce and the parm shake on cheese. Otherwise it is just plain bread. It suffers if it doesn't get enough drizzle and parm. -Yeah, our wings are surprisingly decent for their cost. Garlic parm cream sauce is good. Personally, if we ever get extra wings made, I will take them and drizzle the actual garlic oil and parmesan shake on we use for the bread bites. Best version of garlic parm in my opinion. -If you try asking nicely for it, you might be able to get a drizzle of both the BBQ sauce and the Mango Habanero sauce. They work REALLY well together. Also works if you do light BBQ and light Mango hab sauce on a pizza. Chicken, bacon, jalapeno, pineapple works great like that with that sauce combo. -Boneless wings are lackluster. Not big enough pieces. Meh flavor. They do work well as those 12pc chicken bites and only that way, because it comes with toppings that add more flavor. -You didn't get enough cinnamon drizzle, and that's a shame. They are a pretty decent treat. -The marble cookie brownie is our best item in my opinion. Its genuinely the best thing we sell in my opinion. -There is supposed to be some sauce on the chicken parm? That's a shame. It's the best sandwich. All the rest are just...sandwiches... -These are the 12piece specialty chicken bites I mentioned earlier, only way the boneless chicken tastes good. -Yeah, It used to have salami, but they discontinued that item as well. Now its just pepperoni and ham for the meats...lame... -more chicken bites, more meh. -sandwich is a sandwich. -more chicken bites, more meh. -sandwich is a sandwich. -more chicken bites, more meh. -you missed the sausage marinara pasta...that's our best one. -sandwich is a sandwich. -sandwich is a sandwich. -lava cakes are pretty dang great That's all, hope that helps clear things up for you that threw you off at first! *edited for typos and clarity

Btw if you actually have Caeliacs you should not eat at Dominos. The GF crust may be gluten free but there is absolutely no other protection from contamination, everything goes on the same trays and is prepared in the same area.

Honestly, if you're allergic to any ingredients domino's carries, you shouldn't eat there. When I worked there we were encouraged to reuse ingredients that fell into the collection trays so everything ends up touching everything else. We also weren't allowed to use gloves so do with that what you will

This just brought back a funny memory for me. I was on vacation with some friends years and years ago, and we were hungry and trying desperately to find a pizza place that delivered to us and calling every Dominos in the phone book. By the time we reached the seventh and final Dominos, the hold recording of "IS IT A COOKIE? IS IT A COOKIE, OR IS IT A PIZZA? GET THE NEW OREO PIZZA" was burned into our brains and became an inside joke for ages. I haven't talked to either of them in years, but that's such a fond memory still.

I have a roommate who works at Dominos and it's wild how much the quality is dependent on who is working the kitchen that day. He always makes sure people cook the food he brings home right, but it is so janky whenever I order it and he isn't at work. It's a deeply inconsistent fast food chain.

As someone with relatively low standards, you're absolutely right about the tots. Got them once thinking 'Hell yeah, cheese on tots? Easy win', and then they were... weird. Disappointing, even if they weren't so bad I couldn't finish them or anything. Edit: I also think you might have gotten skimped on your parmesan bread bits. Usually those suckers are SWIMMING in garlicky oil, and I can't get enough of them. If they were bland, someone made 'em wrong... but also probably saved your heart some turmoil later on.

Yeah, those things are usually so heavily coated in garlic oil and parmesan that I have to take the box out immediately or else the house will smell like garlic feet for the next day or two. The actual bread bite is very nice when it is super duper fresh and hot and then just kind of chewy afterwards.

The quality of the dominoes is directly related to which dominoes you live near, I live near an excellent dominoes and my family and I prefer it to some of the artisan places we also live near cuz for the price it is really very good. But if you live near a crappy one than it’s bad 🤷

You're lucky you ate those brownies while they were still warm. Those things are fucking DISGUSTING if they dry out. No amount of rehydration trickery can revive them, you either eat them less than an hour after they arrive at your house or they are a manifestation of misery. Lava cakes are amazing. You should try it with the icing IF THEY FUCKING REMEMBER TO INCLUDE IT, it's like sweetness overload but the icing balances out the intense chocolate flavor and makes it even better.

As someone who used to really love Dominos, I REALLY have to be in the mood for their food now. I love their desserts, their cheesy bread is pretty good, but as far as their pizzas go, I mainly just get an Alfredo sauce pizza. And even now it seems like extra Alfredo ain’t an option anymore. 🤷‍♂️

Back when the sandwiches first came out, they had some crazy deal on them to compete with Subway... think it was 5 bucks or around there. The chicken parm was actually pretty good (definitely supposed to come with marinara), and wayyy better than anything from Subway. Would pick it up like 2-3 times a week. The crispy faux ciabatta bread is better than it has any right to be IMO, assuming it's still the same.

Domino's is my late night guilty pleasure. I never order it before midnight but it always hits the spot! They are solid! Jalapeno and Bacon Pizza is my go to. Like to dip the slices in the ranch. My cousin likes to joke and say Domino's isn't pizza, its an open face sandwich.

I find most fast food pizza chains to be far more dependent on staff than say a chain burger place. I can reliably go to a McDonald's, Burger King or Wendy's just about anywhere and know exactly what's going to be in the bag 95/100. Domino's? Little Ceasars? It's a dice roll and because staff turn over in those kinds of places is so high even if you find one that's good, it won't last. It's always a bit of a crap shoot. It's why I kind of avoid them for myself personally. They aren't cheap enough anymore to be gambling on if what I ordered will actually be done properly and I don't do the whole returning it or complaining to get them to fix it. I know some people enjoy spit pizza but not I.

Mortified to see that Dominos in the states (or at least your dominos) doesnt have Cinna Bites (the bread bites but cinnamon) or Cinna Stix (breadsticks but cinnamon. I think the Pizza at Dominos is actually some of the worst. to the point I can't eat it without gagging. I however, love their chicken parm-sandwhich. You got robbed, it should have sauce on it I love the garlic bread bites, but they always use so much garlic butter, that it pools o the bottom and makes those waaaaaay to garlicy. You hating the boneless chicken bites murders my soul. I love them, always crunchy and juicy on the inside.
