It is killer amp....has kind of an Uberschall + Recto vibe going. The reason it hasn't caught on has nothing to do with quality or tone: it is just in tough against other more established or popular amps.
@LaDrouille644 жыл бұрын
@@SluggerStark had Mesa and peaveys amps as many others and they are not perfect amps. Huge amps with defaults as well in sounds. This one seems to have the qualities of these amps without their Bad specs in some frequencies. The mesa will sound huge and ballsy in a room but is horrible to mic due do its basses etc... This looks like a Real high gain studio amp. Anyway, After Years of amps tone quest, I leave with my Friedman for the moment

Eyyyyyyy, some PRS love. Do you won any of their guitars? I'd love to know what you think of any you've played.
@ZachWish4 жыл бұрын
I don't at the moment but one of the first really nice guitars I ever got was a PRS 513 and it was seriously killer guitar. Wish I still had it and I'd love to get another PRS someday. The attention to detail is always top notch and all of the PRS guitars that I've played have been really resonant and big sounding. I think at the time I was just kind of chasing that Gibson/Marshall sound, but nowadays my tastes have opened up a bunch. I'm less of a fan of the super flashy flame/quilt wood tops personally, but they make some cool subtle stuff that's really up my alley. Hopefully I can snag one down the line. Thanks for checking out the video!

@@ZachWish Man, I feel the same. I've never really been able to get along with some of the most famous guitars, normally because of the feel. @SluggerStark4 жыл бұрын
Love PRS guitars. All my electrics are now PRS, with the exception of a '79 LP I keep for sentimental reasons. Also, their pickups that they have in their guitars now are some of the best out there, which never used to be the case.

Does the 15watt MT have the same preamp/topology? You have great videos and I’m glad you don’t shred but rather play tight rhythms instead. Would like to see some lower wattage amps demoed in the future if you can? 15/20 watt variant.
@AHGrayLensman3 жыл бұрын
The MT-15 is pretty similar to the Archon -- it doesn't have a master volume for the clean channel or a resonance control and its EQ range is slightly different, but otherwise it's almost the same amp.
