I just saw Mr. Grissom play a pair of these last night; both were mic'd. I don't think the boost was ever not engaged. The tone was fantastic.

I'd love to see a DGT 15 Combo. That would be just about my dream rig for the small venues I play. I love John's road-worn DGT - it's great to see a PRS bearing the scars of heavy use. 😎

It would have to be a lot lighter than the Sonzera 20 combo, which seems to have been engineered for maximum weight.

@@Robstafarian Wow - you're not wrong! I use a Laney Cub-Super 12 15w combo and was imagining a similar weight, but I just checked the specs of the Sonzera 20 and it's nearly twice as heavy! 😲

Haha yeah, This is why when I’m not playing at home, depending on who the drummer is, I’ll unplug my 63 Princeton speakers and put it through my twin reverb’s V30s. Not quite the magic of the 10 alnico I have in the Princeton but still much better than the Twin. One day I’ll get a 1x12 or 2x10, probably both lol, and try out some different combinations

I use my box mini super Beatle 25 watt no mic at small clubs that kicks ass! ( Wondering if this would as well)

Same for me have the hdrx and love it and plan for this with a radial pedal that allows two head with my vintage çab and an oxbox - should cover the bases and create a couple channels for me !

I bought a handcart. Folds flat - even the wheels. Will carry a cab, head, pedalboard. Actually, a 2x12 and 2 heads (15W and 18W) for a wet dry rig. Won’t work for everyone, but was a game changer for me. This PRS looks and sounds good.

@@Joe-mz6dc Stow your insults and think if you imagine that healthcare is even remotely affordable after paying rent, particularly if one is paying for gear. I am old enough to represent the watershed between people just old enough to know that home ownership is a fantasy for most and those young enough to have grown up with a reasonable expectation of being shot in a public place which is itself considered safe by monied, white people. Really?? Nice amp but why not add an extra or larger power tunbe and bring it up to 30 watts?? Making apologies and telling drummers to play softer is weird. If "the perfect amp" to many is a Fender Deluxe at over 25 watts so any amp that will be used at a live gig should have at least 25 watts.

I just "say no" to all things PRS. Bought one guitar and even though it's a finely crafted instrument it sounds lifeless and was DOA when it came to mojo. Hardpass
