I will echo what everyone has been saying....this is THE best review and demo of this amp so far. Touches on every aspect of the amp and actually displays riffs and licks that an actual owner of the MT15 would be playing. Not the blues filled licks that the PRS guy is all over the net demonstrating. And Nick can seriously play guitar as well. Just a well done overall review. And by the way, I own this amp and fully agree with everything he says.

Hands down best review of this amp on you tube. I own this one with the Mt cab combo and it is just as brutal as it sounds here. I use a Wampler tumnus deluxe as a boost, and just like he explained it with the review. Modulation through the loop, tumnus through clean for the less extreme stuff. Killer amp. Love it to death.

Red. The only color a paul reed smith should be 😉😁. I wonder what year of prs that is. It breaks the market because it’s small, portable, unbelievably priced, AND actually sounds remarkable. I’m used to seeing even higher priced amps just sound like moosh and requiring all this dialing in. Plus they usually all sound the same. Usually they take so much push to get them going to it makes it frustrating. That or you get small amps that sound cheap. Prs congrats 🎈🎊🎉!

It takes the drive pedal well but this amp doesn’t even need a overdrive. The lead channel is so tight it’s insane. Basically you just need a boost for soloing and you have got your clean, crunch and lead tones. Insane amp for this budget. Is PRS planning to make more of these lower wattage amps? I would be seriously interested in a amp like this but with 3 or 4 channels with EQ etc. Does anybody this?

Great sounding amp. I would have liked ti see how it takes pedals, 1,500.00 steep on cost, no mention of a footswitch. 2 channels, should have one with FX on.off on a footswitch as well as channel select. These are not too inexpensive whereas to incorporate these features would not kill PRS bottom line. The kind of money they are asking for these, I would pass and recommend anyone else to do as well. I do not know why the country of origin is for these amps. If not made in USA, screw PRS. I can find out easy enough. PRS stole the lights from Carvin V3M, which I like. The V3m has 3 channels and are made in U.S.A., 50,25,7 watt options as well as 120to 240. They can be taken overseas with no problems. If I was touring, this would be important, in the event I wanted to use in my hotel room. I see many negatives for the money and other "Lunch Box" as you call them. It is almost like PRS has the class of Orange amplifiers. Which are not cheap (They look that way) and many are made in China there are other amps out there which are as good if not better. PRS will get the 1,500.00 as many yuppies buy PRS gear to impress themselves and their buddies. Do not get me wrong, PRS makes some fine guitars. Prs also has a problem finding ebony for their top- notch guitar fretboards. 5000.00 and up there should be an option for ebony fretboards and mother of pearl inlays. Not mother of toilet seat inlays. My advice to PRS, put some quality options on your already expensive equipment. You will get more respect. If I had the time to care and PRS was a publicly traded company, I would buy soe stock show up at a shareholders meeting and say what I just said. I do not care enough as I can buy around PRS and go with Friedman amps. At least when you have something to say or have a problem, getting Dave on the phone is as easy as calling your neighbor.

@SaintsCheat6 жыл бұрын
hawg427 it’s not so much the “sound” but how they are wired. Most amps have options on the back 4,8,16ohms to use with cabs that are wired that way. IE if you have an 8ohm cab (back of cabs say what it is) and plug into a 4ohm Head, ur gonna kill the tubes in a few hours
@hawg4276 жыл бұрын
So if you can pick between 8 & 16 ohm one the cab and your amp has 8 & 16 ohm as long as you match properly there's not sound/volume difference?
