Once I bought an equity share of Gail of shares of around 6000 quantity. The Upstox executed orders partially and there was almost 26 number of orders executed. When I checked the contract note, for each and every executed order, they charged Brockage. But at the same time, 5paisa took only flat ₹20 for the same order. In Upstox, I paid almost ₹520 as Brockage only while 5psisa charged only ₹20. From then only I'm using 5paisa. Even though short selling is not encouraged by the brocker 🔥🎉

Well said. Other ways that the brokers make money. 1. Spreads - when you place a market order they would try to give lower price than the market 2. Technical issues (like delaying the order execution)- sometimes they wantedly creates issues to make trader loose their money as they can see the open positions

Don't think it is intentional. They have confirmed that they had hardware failure. These glitches will only affect them negatively. I used to do trading with upstox. Stopped it after continous glitches. Just like that so much traders left Upstox. They won't get any benefit out of these.

Upstox do Intensionally, few week back their system has stopped working and other day they emailed everyone that there servers has some issues, but if the servers has issues why their contact number is also off??? And why on very volatile day near budget??? I don't think their trading server and customer care department has same server or running in same system...I try call in every half and hour, 12:pm to 7:pm, but number is switch off..is this coincidence????

Zerodha charges 35.40rs per script as pledging charges and there is a lot of haircut for every script. Transaction charges are also very high.

Look, its simple. Since all brokers are regd with sebi, they can give a comparitve charts about the charges of all brokers. So public can make an informed choice. They wont do. A lot of countries left china after covid, they were supposed to come to india but most went to vietnam. Nothing will change in this country. You want to be honest but systems will force you to become corrupt. Live with it.
