By the way FII actually started selling from April 2021 in cash market and only very few months they bought in the last 37 months. Actually every year they sold around 1.6lac crore an average and from 2021 April they sold atleast 5.5lac crore in the cash market.

Sir on may 16 i had few call option i had before 2 i Lost 50% So i know market will go up and down and touch the Stop loss so i usually dont keep any stop loss on expiry days I Placed 300% profit but in the end it went to 1800% 😅 i never expected 1800% but still its about 34 lakhs Extra profit missed

I am not speaking about India. All the EVMs are in the hands of the ruling party in any country. I very much doubted EVMs had a huge role to play in the election victory of even the late CM, the iron lady of Tamil Nadu. Any manipulated electronic machinery will allow opposition to win in some opposition dominated states, to avoid suspicion. AI and electronics controlled machines are far more intelligent than many of their human counterparts. Finally, many think BJP will form the next government in India.

NO. Do not try to hide the fact that market purely loves BJP in power due to their spending in infra and forward looking policies, not like freebies from INDIA block. If the thing was purely from stability/instability, then why market went up after recent 4 state election? No change in central govt was supposed to happen, still why market loved BJP in power? Forget about the 1991-1996 or 2004-2009, this Congress has changed in hands of Rahul, his accomplices are mostly leftist academicians. if you are in profit and sell all then u have to pay 15% tax (assuming short term capital gains). It means if and ONLY if market goes down beyond 15% then it is worth the selling now - so, Nifty has to go down by more than 3000 points for you to buy again at lower price! Numerically: Reliance has to go down by 400 rupees or u can buy after elections at 2400 from the current level of 2800 Infy has to go down by 200 rupees or u can buy after elections at 1200 from the current level of 1450 If you think it will drop so much then worth booking profit now. So, it is up to the individual whether to book profit, pay 15% tax and then re enter if you think Nifty will be down by more than 3000 points. To me, the daily volatility is much higher than this election!! :)

STCG tax is on profit, not whole amount. If my STCG is 20% on my portfolio, the tax will be 3% of my whole portfolio. If market crashed for more than 3%, one would be in loss as per my example. One has to calculate based on their capital gain. Even if someone is sitting on a STCG gain of 60%, it makes sense to book profit.

This translates upto 7.5% fall is not beneficial. beyond 7.5 or around10% fall will only justify offloading the portfolio. then u have to include brokerage, price diff while buying, lost opportunity when there is a delay in buying, etc.
