There same relative but different Universe so I like calling them Timeline as in there close Kaiju problem

Short answer: NO Long answer: They are not in the same Universe, not to mention the Jaeger difference between the 2 timelimes are different the Jaeger's in the movies prove to be much more stronger, agile, faster and they also had superior weaponry and experienced pilots; Pacific Rim the black is an alternative timeline filled with inferior mechs and Kaijus (no offense) because most of the Kaijus in the series were Cat. 3 and the Jaegers ranged from Mark. 3 - 4 while the movie Jaegers ranged from Mark. 1 - 7 and the Kaijus ranged from Cat. 4 - 5 (Mega Kaiju would be a higher Cat practically either Cat. 7 or 8) PRTB could also be an alternative timeline wherein instead of Raleigh and Mako being the main heroes, the main heroes are hayley and her brother. Movie Jaegers > PRTB Jaegers Movie Kaijus > PRTB Kaijus

@@Mavuika-115.3 actually it is possible for them to be in the same timeline as the only reason the kaijue cat 3 is because they are assaulting the continent and usually you overwhelm the enemy with lighter forces and then push in the stronger ones to pick off any survivors and the jeagers are more powerful as they have more anti kaijue missiles which work wonders and the older ones never had cryo guns plus all the pros that we have seen taken out by cat 3 are very tired they were battling tons of kaijue weakening them making a lot easier to kill oh and atlas is a training jeager who took down a cat 4 in 2 shots in the ep 7 so no they are not less powerful they are more advanced and tired due to the amount of attacks and its proven that all the pr 1 and 2 mechs did exist and all events did infact as they were seen at the bio mechs grave yard oh and Haley and Taylor parents jeager is a mark 6 so no they def not inferior and going off of hunters stats marauder zues is around a mark 6 and striker berserker is a Mark V Jaeger and the spiritual successor to the famous, Striker Eureka, who was one of the two Jaegers to participate in Operation Pitfall. oh and horizon bravo and chaos nemesis are mark 4 while November ajax valor omega and titan redeemer are mark 6 and the last 3 of those are all in uprising and are shown in the black and as of this they can be the same universe and they are not inferior you just neglect to do your research DO YOUR DAMN RESEARCH NEXT TIME
