1- MGP Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar said that real estate developers are eyeing mundkarial land and was ready to take law in own hands to safeguard constituency voters' rights. Arolkar also said that he was confident that CM Sawant will give justice to mundkars.

2- Electricity department EE Kashinath Shetye today said that the cable operators are yet to identify the cables laid on various electricity poles. He said cable operators were asked to provide details with proper colour coding. He also informed that while deot gives permission for laying of overhead cables from one pole to another, it has no powers as far as permission for trees are concerned.
3-License holder of the shack at Arambol, where Amar Bandekar was allegedly murdered on 26 January this year, has filed a petition before the High Court challenging the order of the Tourism Department to demolish the shack and canceling the license.
Opposing the plea of petitioner license holder, Goa government has contended that prima facie it has been found the petitioner has sub-leased the shack in violation of the license condition.
4- The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi a few days after the Goa legislative assembly brought up the subject of water scarcity, requesting that the Center provide funds to upgrade Goa's water supply. As part of the Center's financial investment, Dempo listed a number of initiatives that Goa can adopt.
