This is a very good video on pruning a tree. One thing that i would add is for her to use plastic safety goggles, they only cost about 10 dollars for a high quality,COMFORTABLE pair.I've been gardening for 40 years and never used glasses for the first thirty, then one day while pruning a tree i cut a branch that was bent a little, yes you guessed it.RIGHT IN THE EYE.Not blinded ,but it hurt like hell.It scratch my cornea? The doc said i was very lucky? right !! ,now i always wear good safety glasses ,ive felt two hits to my eyes... one weed whacking the other lawn mowing.Trust me please!!! you will never regret putting them on,just remember to keep them clean,i think that's the biggest issue with using them,if there dirty you cant see,and it's real easy just to put them aside.hope this helps.BEEN THERE.

I really enjoyed both the informative Hudson and Kelly's sense of humor. The producer/editor kept it moving at a nice pace It seemed she might be a professional. One suggestion, please never spray without protection. A good respirator mask sells at Home Depot and Lowes for about $35 and if used properly can save you from poisoning yourself. It would have been nice if Hudson had warned you. You've got about 4k subscribers. I'm sure you want to protect them. Let's add eye protection and long sleeves to the list. Toxic sprays are necessary but not a joke.

Lucky I don't have birds here in GA that bother my peaches. Except for one of my favorites, a Red Bellied Woodpecker. Gorgeous bird that likes to peck a nice hole in the top of 2 to 3 peaches around the stem. Freaked me a bit at first until I figured out their game. They make the hole just under the skin and return to the peaches a couple of times a day because the open wet flesh attracts loads of tiny black bugs. The prize they're after!! HA! Smart birdies!! I'm happy to share a few peaches with a bird that beautiful and crafty!! :)

Clive Craymer: When I was directed to get OptiCop, the directions seemed to mean to saturate the tree. It had fireblight. Then I came back in a week and did it again. Same next season, no sign of the disease, and a big burst of fruit. In view of these conflicting directions (yours, which has merit, and what it said on the bottle,) I will ask the customer to wash their hands after handling and wash the fruit before consumption.

Notice there are NO leaves on the tree. Is that normal to have a nectarine completely lose its leaves? What time of year are you guys doing the pruning?

stone fruits trees like nectarine and peach are Deciduous trees, drop its leaves in fall and start new growth season in the spring, pruning is done in mid winter
