Prusa Mini Fit Bondtech Heat-break and nozzle step-by-step, stop clogs and clicking

How to fit a Bondtech heatbreak to a Prusa Mini 3d printer, step-by-step, including fitting new nozzle. The upgrade was required as the heat-break was clogging and jamming, causing the extruder to click and grind filament.
Before the upgrade printing below 215 degrees with PLA was impossible. After the upgrade i did a 15 hour print at 205 degrees with no clogs.

Once you understand the process, its actually very easy to do.
I used a Slice Engineering 1.5NM torque wrench, with a 3/8 adaptor and 7mm socket fitted.

I have the same bondtech upgrade kit as you, tell me did you try to print on 4.3.4 software? what software do you use i can't come to good quality prints after changes i have very uneven extraction.

i am currently on 4.3.1 so i will upgarde to 4.3.4 and see what happens when i make my next print - and report back in this threa

Thank you for your video.I changed heat break also,but not bondtech’s but levendingdsgn’s. Because after changingextruder into bondtech one, i found heat creep on my printing. After changing heartbreak, i tried autotune through octoprint and set tuned result. stability was not as I expected. Have you tried autotune on your machine? If you can, please let me know the differences of the quality for auto tune and bondtech’s .

I keep having an under extrusion problem with that combo. It’s not extreme, the parts still print. But the plastic it lays down on each layer get anemic and some of the walls are thinner than they should be leaving gaps. Any thoughts?

Perhaps adjust settings in your slicer a little.

Sounds like you didn't tighten the nozzle properly against the heatbreak. If there is a gap there it will result in underextrusion or clogging.

No thanks, there is no option for hardened nozzles with Revo.
