My guess on why you could react to spinning elbow was either because he was moving forward when he threw it, or because he switched stance.

Facts, most new players might master the simple mechanics and wonder why they struggle. It’s because they don’t actively think. it’s a lot of nuances to the striking in this game. As a new player you don’t really notice them which leads to brainless spamming.

Once you get good at staying in proper range, knowing when to plant feet, reading block, etc is when you notice the small nuances to the striking .

Great video man, thanks for the tips really appreciate your work. I Have a question though, maybe you even did a video about this but I'm not sure. How do you deal with opponents who use only created fighters that cannot be knocked out? I used to beat them after a decent struggle, but then recently I fought another two, where the first fight ended with me submitting him with Jon Jones of all people, and when I tried to do this to the other guy, he had a decent ground game and takedown defense which I did not expect, so while I was trying to come up with a plan, he kept spamming kicks and strikes and knocked me out

claw will 100% always give an advantage over regular players. the ability to not only keep your thumb on the right stick but also simultaneously press all 4 buttons is a very big advantage in pretty much every game. i played claw pretty much since i started gaming but i don’t use it the same way pry does, hope this helped

The divisions are accurate frfr I think I'm better than average and I float from div 6-11 when I get to 8 I notice huge difference in challenges and I try to fight consistently smart.

It feels like when I leg kick opponents my own leg gets hurt from it but when they do it to me they take no damage

they're low blocking (Lt+Rt/L2+R2) which checks your kick. you have to mix up head strikes to get them to block high then low kick.
