Saintly here. Been a fan for years bro and it was an honor fighting you. We had a great fight, and you beat me fair and square. I do wanna point out it was kind of disappointing you were basically calling me out for the slip hooks but I totally get where you’re coming from, watching it I was definitely throwing way too many and it was on the verge of cheesing but at the same time it’s an easy counter, and I was up 55 significant strikes to 22 before you got me with a last second of the round flash ko. Slip hooks aren’t on the same level as some of the block bar 1-2 hook spamming and clinch cheesing going on. Hope we can fight again.

slip hooks are cheese brotha. when you throw them moving forward like that it’s kinda obvious that you’re fishing for it instead of actually reading it, and being on the receiving end is unbelievably aggravating i get where pry’s coming from here. also you were up on significant strikes but you did throw more than twice as many so there’s that, strikes were actually even at the end so guess it didn’t matter

@@badgedog that’s fair bro. I’ll keep that in mind. I see what you’re saying about making myself to obvious with it and not from reads. I’ll slow down on that and take what you’re saying into consideration. Still think it’s nowhere near the clinch cheesing in this game. I’ve had a lot of people message me talking trash but not one has been because of slip hooks.

@@badgedog not like I abused them. I got carried away one time because he kept leaving himself open to them. There’s dudes who refuse to throw first the entire fight and do nothing but slip pull spam 1-2 hook block bar cheese the ENTIRE fight. Not what you see in this scrap

Positive observation. EA never really makes really small patches. Also tgey said kickboxing which can mean low kicks footwork possibly even stamina and moving forward strikes can all be getting a change to slow the game down I really hope that update is worth our wait

They’re all beatable Pry, if you get to prestige 2-3 you’ll be unstoppable. I just played Mazi and got neck grabbed about 47 times.

I’d like to see them show you a tale of the tape showing you vs your opponents fight stats, how many KOs, TKOs, and subs (no losses cause players ego lol) They also can show you how you beat that opponent in case you have a rival and forgot if they have better ground or striking. I think if online career had more customization like let’s say tattoos, scars, and hair from any fighter already in the game plus the ability to assign your buttons to the moves available in the game it would bring back many players. Points can be for stats, move levels are earned, and submissions are assigned 3 per calf until you reach max stats in grappling

Lilmazi and a bunch of the top people are DEFINITELY clinch spam cheesers. Most use clinch to elbow and get cut stoppage or clinch for takedown against the cage.

Pry, I fight content creators the same I usually fight, but with you since it was online career I wanted to stand in the middle and test myself with you, but I think if I rematched one day if it was 5 rounds I'd try follow my usual striking tactics which is basically just making sure I'm engaging on my own terms. it made for a funner fight tho thats fs

If I saw a creator out in the wild, I'd just try to adapt my fighting style to be effective against them, although I never use another UFC fighter besides my Kickboxer - Acrobat CAF, so there's that.

This was a good fight but I feel like dem slip hooks legit to me. We all know we done seen somebody get slipped hook irl all the time. I feel like the slip hook is something that everyone should use especially against people that you are aware of having more power than and aggressive opponents. How does the other sim fighters in the UFC 5 community or even the rest Pry Gang feel about the slip hook mechanic? I wanna here yall take onnit.
