Freedom Wars is insanely cheap for such a good (& exclusive) game. There are a lot of updates for it that will take up space on your memory card though. Soul Sacrifice is also fun. Same type of game as FW but you're fighting demons in the underworld. Has some interesting game mechanics too. Erick if you like 1984, check out Animal Farm by the same author. It's my favorite of the two. "All animals are created equal. But some are more equal than others."

I liked the vid, specially seeing Stranger of Sword City Vanilla. It was great alongside Revisited. A shame Demon Gaze 1 and 2 are not included, both from the same creators and publishers. EArch and GW DoFP are shocking, I didn't know that they are cheap now. Soul Sacrifice in short is Dante's Inferno x Monster Hunter Genre x Grimm Brother's Fairy Tales to the extreme x Arthrian Myths(Lost in Translation). It is an exclusive and Delta is the Definitive version. What made it unique is that your character is a mage/spellcaster. Spells have limited use and they break and cost lacrima(in game currency) to repair. You can interact with the environment allowing you to sacrifice or absorb items to temporarilly use other spells you didn't have to restpring offerings(spells). Defeating enemies and bosses allows you to save them free hp heals(bosses become AI allies) or Sacrifice them restoring spell use as long as it is not broken. This is where you get essence(drops for sigils[passive offerings boosting stats or spells' power]). Doing this also makes your character stronger. Higher Sacrifice points = Power, Save points = Defence and Regen and equal is balnced. Delta allowed switching faiths. Grim are Neutral and adds Fate where it is randomised and restores spells, Save is heal, Sacrifice is damage boosts if mempry serves right. Avalon are the original Faith in Vanilla, Fate allows damage boosts. There is one for Save savvy but I forgot what it is called. Basically Save restores spells, Sacrifice is free hp heal and Fate is damage boost(or was ot the otherway around).

Good video. I have the PS TV, so I am only slightly invested in vita games. I also never picked up many due to having many games to play already. I may plug it up and give Freedom Wars a shot though. I want to see it it gives me 1984 vibes as well. Games that have issues don't really bother me. They have their own charm cause those issues usually stem from either the results of a small team or some experimental gameplay

_Stranger of Sword City_ is a good mention, though as I recall, some of the later "quests" are annoying/confusing. _Freedom Wars_ is a great "Hunting Game" though while many of the ideas will be familiar to people who have played things like _Monster Hunter_ or _God Eater,_ the implementation is quite different. End game was a bit bland as I recall, with figuring out exactly what missions you need to do to find the drops you need being awkward, particularly since the enemy names are forgettable, quickly being replaced with nicknames. Regardless, I've still got the title installed on my Vita and I enjoy the odd mission here or there. _Soul Sacrifice,_ as I remember, is in a similar category to _Freedom Wars._ Best way to describe it is as themed around blood magic. I remember having a reasonably good time with the demo, though I remember the environments being bland in the way _God Eater_ was. Can't comment too much on the full release, but it's a title that I've not really heard much praise or revilement for. It was just kind of a game that happened, and later had a complete version or such released under the name _Soul Sacrifice Delta._ Probably worth checking out if you're picking it up for $15 or so though.

Different ways of catching sounds tiring but at least can put some challenge into it.
