​I think it helps that a lot of said games(, including non-psx games) still hold up really well gameplay-wise. Mega Man 8(, despite being a 2D platformer), is my favorite example for the PSX. Even with the comically bad voice acting(, in english at least), the game itself is a total joyride to play from start to finish.

@@PieroMinayaRojas Yeah, i mean, some games are different and may not ruin the experience as they can be saved with a good gameplay, however cartoony games for example graphics are a huge part of the experience. I also miss how in the past cartoony games could be also technically impressive. Nowadays we only see that on realistic games.
