Always wondered how Sony pulled off being the new guy and being at the top. Nowadays they seem to be floundering about everything- raising prices, unavailability, anticonsumer mumbo jumbo etc as flawed as Sega was back then I wonder what it would be like for them to jump back into the hardware market

Is it me or we don't see often price cut nowadays I'm the current generation. The Nintendo switch never get a price drop since 5 years when it was originally released.

Yup it's pretty insane nowadays! I think they are just situated now, back then in the 90s it was still the wild west. Now Nintendo caters to their specific market so they don't need to lower prices anymore and it's really just Playstation and Xbox that are directly "competing"
