Not sure if you're aware but the arcade has an option to improve the graphics: if you go into the DIP Switch settings there is an Interlaced video mode that boosts the resolution. The PS2 version is still light years ahead but it does make the arcade look significantly better than its default settings. The same can be done with Soul Calibur arcade.

Tekken Tag was ported to PS3 as well. Though nowadays, I believe PCSX2 with widescreen + no interlacing patches is the definitive way to go, I have no clue if you could get widescreen on RPCS3... Edit: The PS3 is natively widescreen. There's a nice textures pack on PCSX2 so it still wins at the moment.

Many people, me included, have nostalgia for PS1 era Tekken and its iconic low-poly looks. Tekken 3 is generally the most fondly remembered Tekken. The arcade version of Tag Tournament uses the same graphics engine as Tekken 3. Some of its stages are gorgeous, like the HK back alley, the sunset stage and the snow stage.

I wish that the PS3 version of TTT had single pkayer mode like the PS2 version. Playing it in RPCS3 with enhancements is grest. Might look to see if there's a texture pack for the PS2 one, so I'll just go back to that.

@@VideoGameEsoterica Sure! Making a video without fact checking does confirm that right. A simple Wikpedia search would tell you that there were balance changes which of course, tournament players would notice. And you are factually wrong when in your video you say the PS2 is faster than the arcade. It's not. Play the arcade version for a week & then play the PS2 version & tell me with a straight face that you don't feel the lag. It's 2 frames extra. Even loading times are faster on arcade. It would be nice if you research properly & then make videos. I understand personal tastes & difference of opinion but factually wrong info is just plain bad journalism.

The visual upgrade is amazing but sadly it seems like Tag 1 got a gameplay nerf because the gameplay is slower on PS2 compared to the arcade version.
