The funny thing is they DID have darryl, he reprised his role in Yakuza 7 and I have no idea why they replaced him with yong just one game later

@@jffj1425 To be fair, the karaoke thing wasn't Youyyea's fault It was the engineer that was in charge who really overdid it with autotune in Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth If you listen to karaoke in Like a Dragon Gaiden he sounds way better there Honestly, Youyyea Kiryu's voice might work on younger Kiryu from Yakuza 0, not Kiryu who is in his 50th

@@MattRogan28 that might be true, i have tried to avoid spoilers on gaiden and infinite wealth, but when the discourse began it was impossible to avoid hearing judgement and some lines from IW. Dont think it really fits wither way, but yeah a younger one maybe

@@MattRogan28 The Karaoke isn't Yong's fault, true. But he's just soooo unsuited to voicing Kiryu. He coulda voiced Zhao, Joon-gi, even Daigo for all I care. But casting him as Kiryu? It ain't it, chief.
