My problem is not the file. The settings are saving fine if I use USB flash drive. It only fails to save of I try smb. Doesn't matter if there is a cfg or not. Save changes works just fine the problem is when I try to change the game settings in compatibility modes

thank you so much. i'm having an issue where i can't load any SMB games actually, on a Slim as well. it keeps giving me a pink screen upon loading, which as i understand is a USB reading issue.

Im having a problem where I am trying to save my settings on OPL (im using the 1.1.0 version) and it's been stuck saying "Saving config" for a long time now. Assuming this may not work because this video is for "saving errors" is there anything I can do to fix that? Never mind. I did what you instructed us to do. Sorry for asking dumb questions lol.

IF YOU ARE ABLE TO SAVE GENERAL SETTINGS BUT NOT GAME SPECIFIC SETTINGS THEN READ ME! Make sure that your user in OPL settings has full access rights for the shared folder in security settings of that folder.... I gave full rights to my custom PS2 user, but in OPL settings I gave credentials for my main admin user (because at the time I thought it would be better idea)... but the folder by default has readonly for everyone + full access that I gave only to my PS2 user :D So in network settings you probably use another user that has only read permission for your PS2 folder and you need to use one that has full permission.

@@nevermore691 on PC when you right click the file and go to properties.. make sure that under "Security" settings you give your users read and write permissions to PS2 folder

I really need help with the save changes part, it overwrites the whole freemcboot installation for me, so the the fortuna installation are gone from the MC and I cant access it any longer and have to instal everything again, anyone know how to fix that so it doesnt overwrite other files?
