@KP-48-007 More varied car selection and some more tracks, but those were more coast like tracks, I prefer TD's actual track selections where each city were all interconnected, sense of speed was better than NFS HP2's (surprisingly), and it didn't have those dumb long knockout events HP2 had that were glorified championships, but literally on the same ass track 3 to 4 times! Test Drive 2002 was no masterpiece, but it least didn't waste your time and you had an actual story with characters that gave you the incentive to keep racing.

What happened to fun arcade racing games? I really miss the older point A to point B racing games like the original NFS, Test Drive's, Rush, and everything els that made my childhood awesome. Now game developers just make crap that they think will give them a quick dollar. The good arcade racers don't have to have a million body/nitrous mods. They where all about the cars and gameplay. I love GT and Forza, but I also love the "old" school arcade racers.

Rush was good. The truth is, we do have games like this still. You should check out Trackmania ². But on the other hand, 3D games were a lot different when we were kids. A lot hadn't been done yet and it was easy to make something unique, fun, and groundbreaking. I miss those days to be honest, but that is what happens with time. Good racing games are very hard to come by nowadays.
