I love this. I’ve listened to PS22 Chorus for years & you were a big inspiration to me as a music teacher, my children would love watching your videos. I can definitely hear the influence Tori Amos has had on your piano playing in this video! My favourite will always be when your children sang Dragon to her. Much love from the UK x

I really appreciate hearing that you played the songs for your students!! 🤗 While I can't say that rendition of "Dragon" is MY fave PS22 performance, the moment itself remains the highlight of my life!! And with regard to the Tori-esque piano, Ida Lupino always said she was the poor man's Bette Davis. Me?? If Tori is Bette Davis in that analogy, I'd place myself as the poor man's Ida Lupino.... 🤭

Ya'll are great, I'm a music/choir teacher from South Texas and we watch your videos. I love how all of your students seem to feel the music, their facial expressions and their sound is great stage presence! Could you make some videos on how you guys rehearse and prepare your songs? How do students get chosen to be in the PS22 Chorus? What are the requirements to be in your choir?

We need more teachers like him that care. We don't need teachers who are there just to collect a paycheck
@porcelainblueistaken4 ай бұрын
Teaches, especially in the intercity, most definitely AREN'T doing it "for the paycheck". They're *one* of the most woefully underpaid professions in existence. Reconsider why you have this impression that teachers are only there for the paycheck when it is almost entirely untrue and they are essentially the worst paid "nannies" in existence.
