I don't understand why EVERYONE seems to fawn over the PC version of the earlier NFS titles. They all have horrible graphics, and usually, worse physics. I mean WITHOUT ANY visual enhancements, Playstation titles have always looked better. Playstation versions are much more refined, look many times better, and are polished in comparison to their PC counterparts.

Not always, for example PS1 version of NFS Porsche Unleashed is several times worse than PC version. Funny that in this case everything you said is exactly the opposite - NFS PU PS1 graphics looks horrible, physics is worse. PC version of NFS PU is more refined, look many times better, and is polished in comparison to PS1 counterpart By the way my favorite Racing Game of All Time is NFS High Stakes PS1 version - it is MUCH better than the PC version. But not in EVERY aspect - something is still better in NFS HS PC version

I prefer to play in direct 3d software . It’s more immersive because it’s the original ps2 graphics . Sharp resolution really sucks for ps2 games . No motion blur present at all here .
