It worked for me! Thanks. I kept the usb in the ps4 and held vss and mute. Then switched it to one and it turned on. Also I had the charging lead connected to the headset. I think that helped

I just fixed mine. Mine had mic issue (not sure it's fixed) but I could NOT reset it using the hold down button technique either. Go download the Companion App from the play store (Free) Plug the headset in using cable direct to PS4 with it turned OFF, also wireless dongle still needs to be plugged in at same time Open the app it will detect the headset Press options in controller, it'll bring up a menu on the sid, in that menu will be the option to "restore headset" Follow directions and then it'll update the software (I notice a great improvement in sound quaility!!) Then after its complete it'll tell you to unplug the headset from usb turn them on and wait for the light to go to blue.... Worked great!! Reconnected the headset when it would not connect just like yours and improved the sound quality even! I have not had friends on to test mic yet. So hopefully fixed that to (they said I cut in and out talking)

Ok so here's what i did. 1. connect the headset to the PlayStation via USB 2. On the dongle press and hold reset as it's connect to the ps4 3. Hold down vss and mute and at the same time turn on the headset as it's connected to the ps4 it should work like that. I bought a new dongle for my headset. I did that and it worked. And this method is for the "NEW" gold wireless headset.

I just figured it out!!! With the headset plugged in to your PlayStation via usb, hold the reset button on the usb dongle (adapter) and once the blue light starts to flash, with your headset off, hold the mute and vss buttons then plug out the usb cord and turn on the head set at the same time than release the mute and vss buttons... If you do it right it’ll work and pair for sure

Well the way I did it was plus in the USB to the ps4 then click with a needle on the side wait for the like to blink have ur headset connect to the charger press vss n mute at the same time then turn on the headset on that it... that's how I connected mine!!

Была точно такая же проблема, на зарядку наушники заряжались через розьем 3,5 джек они работали, но при включении не звукового сигнала не синего индикатора не было, разобрал наушники на батареи было 3,8 вольта норм, переключайтесь off 1 2 был рабочим, проблема оказалась в разъёме 3,5 джек наушники думали что подключён провод из-за этого они не включались справа сверху розьема 3,5 есть два вывода они когда подключён штекер размыкаются но когда штекер извлекается они должны замыкаться, у меня они не замыкались почистив Контакты и немного их подогнув все заработало как надо)

I had the same issue. So i use the USB Cable and connected to a USB Chager (iphone one). And the RED light came in. I wait a little longer and now is connecting to the USB Dongle. So is a Battery problem. When is to "low" needs a "higher" power supply. like a Phone charger. to forcing to start. Hope this help. :D

Oh that’s easy it took me a few days but I figured it out you just need a charger for it to charge I didn’t have one so I just used my Samsung charger cause my iPhone charger didn’t work on that and after you plug on the ps4 or ps5 then the headset will turn red and the usb will be blue.

officer carl johnson I don’t even get a blue light that signifies that’s its trying to connect. The only light I get is a red light when it’s charging. Past that it don’t turn on. I tried it multiple times exactly to a T. I went of Sony’s troubleshooting page and did what they said and it didn’t work then either. I held the vas and mute for probably 2 minutes and nothing happened. And that was after I had the usb connecter in the ps4. I reset it then held vss and mute at the same time then at the same time turned the headset on and held till I could hold it any longer.

Hey I had this same problem and I just fixed it lol, right so here’s what you do you reset the usb like he does so instead of blinking 3 times a second it’s one a second (NOW IMPORTANT PART) have you headset charging at the same time and press vss and mute this will change the light to a blinking blue light similar to the usb 1 every second now you want to put your headset next to you usb while they are both blinking and I waited about 30seconds and BAMMMM IT WORKED! Let me know if it worked for you guys aswell. (Also make sure nothing is plugged into your controller while doing this)

I nvm promise you I hadn the same problem but then i put in my charger then pluged in the usb. It connected then told me the battery is low. So i suggest just charging it
