No it does not work with a ps4 cable use the HDMI that they give you because the ps5 HDMI is a high speed cable

Only strictly 2.1 or your PS5 will self detonate with a built in c4 glad i helped!

I have my PS5 set up but it didn't come with the USB Cable, I got mine from eBay cause my dad passed away 29/12/2020 and it felt like he was sending me a msg spiritually to get the Series X and PS5 from eBay while I had the money left over from his funeral insurance which was over $4,000, the person that sent me the PS5 took out the USB Cable thinking he'd/she'd be funny, should I send it back to Sony for a new PS5 or ask them to send a USB Cable out in the mail? 😔🤔

Hi I noticed that you have the ps5 plugged into a strip let's call it now I am in Australia and have my ps5 plugged into a double adaptor with my older plsma tv plugged into it also then it's plugged into an extension cord that runs to the main wall socket I can't have the PlayStation 5 plugged into the wall directly as it is on the opposite side of room and in a tight spot near the end of my bed is this an ok option or not? I mean could it damage my ps5? I have had for about just over a month and it has powered down twice on its own so far not sure if it because f the power connection? It beeps then I have to start it from the front power button and when it powers up it says your PlayStation 5 was not turned off correctly etc..... Just wondering if anyone can help me out with this query please?

hmm I've had the PS5 as well as other consoles (Xbox Series X, Switch) connected to the power strip and haven't had any issues with them, and I don't think I've seen others in the comments section here mention that. when it powers off, are you sure it isn't downloading an update or something? is it mid-gameplay?

@@PhoneBattles I'm pretty sure it is not updating or anything like that as far as I recall the last time it did it was a few days ago I was just on the home screen after playing a game it beeped I think once and fully powered down then I try turning it on using the controller only the controller flashes but does nothing then I press the console power button it beeps like 3 times as far as I remember and then does the whole the PlayStation was not turned off correctly and starts up slowly I mentioned it to a friend and he said straight away oh no make sure you plug into the wall directly you can fry you PlayStation idk what is the safest option as I said it's on a double adaptor with my older plasma tv plugged into it then it's plugged into an extension cord keep in mind I'm in Australia not sure of voltage difference if your in another country thanks for the reply btw!

Hi, if you want to play on 120 HZ on 4K, then yes. If you want to play on 120 fps you need a monitor that can output that.
