Yes, the ambiance is wonderful, but he spent his time riding very fast and rough and never take his time to contemplate. Beside, he disturbed nature with noise and brutal action, and deteriorate nature with this kind of movements. So the decor is only a instrument for the own human's interest. It show how much we listen to our own needs, even if it destruct nature, just to have big sensation (while we could have a powerful sensation just by sitting in complete nature, and enjoy the silence and passive energy). Humans should learn to listen to nature's need, instead to listen to their needs. Nature needs calm, peace, harmony, connection, but also a natural pace. It's not something you give when you drive like crazy and disturb fauna and don't respect the natural rythm. So yes, it's a beautiful ambiance, but it's instrumentalized to respond to human's egotic needs...

Nah man, they really don't make games like they used to because the gaming industry grew so fast and so quickly that it transformed into a greedy cash cow. Now AAA publishers buy up studios left and right, put them under one roof and then pump out half-finished safe investments like online shooters, annual sequels or empty sandboxes. There's little room for niche markets outside of underfunded indie efforts so devs seldom get greenlit for cool shit like this.

I can confirm, this is the first of its kind that I’ve seen in years. PS2 era of ATV & MX-style games were more open and encouraged exploration to a greater extent. I’d spend an hour or two per map as a kid just riding around the map and seeing all I could see. This will definitely convince me to get the PS5 at an earlier time than I was expecting to.

What's impressive is how far we have come as humans and how advanced our science and technology is that we can make such realistic looking games today that millions worldwide can enjoy, record and replay for millions others. Just insane. Even 30y ago this level wasn't possible and not even available even 50y ago. 10000y civilization and we are truly as advanced as we can be today and becoming more every decade. Insane how primitive people were 100s, 1000s years ago by comparison.

It's weird to say that it's the most beautiful game, when the guy spent his time riding very fast, without taking the time to enjoy nature and deteriorate it with rough riding. I think that nature should be contemplated, not rushed this way, and i'm not sure that brutal riding is great for nature. Its like the dakar, people are in a beautiful place, but the dakar race is destructive for nature and fauna. The problem is that modern society thinks that we always should be active to enjoy things, while finally you find a huge harmony when you just sit down, relax, and be still.Sometimes it's silence and contemplation that brings you everything you need. You cannot enjoy nature if you don't take the time too look it. But we are in a corrupted society, that just seek big sensations, while the best sensation it's when you sit near the trees and feel their peaceful energy. It fill the soul, believe me.

I tried the beta for this and my main issue with the game was the lack of tricks. I really wish there was a large library and combination of tricks. Because all I seemed to be able to do in this game was do a somersault, do a spin, and stick a leg out. And that gets boring quite quickly. I guess I was hoping for something more like SSX Tricky.
