(PS5) Snooker 19 | 6th 147 Break | Master Difficulty

Great break. I'm totally addicted to Snooker 19. Played about 250 hours of it on PS5. Its not a perfect game by any means but its realistic enough to be very engaging. Pulling off a 147 is definitely not easy on Master difficulty. I've got 7-8 of them and its always very satisfying. Just wish I could get even a 30 break on a real table hahaha...

I've played around 1100 hours, most of those were in the first 3 years after release. Playing every evening for 2 years in a league and participating in the 1st and only Virtual World Championship when the real Championship never took place in 2020. The devs who made the game are great, being only a small group of people and listened and took on board alot of our ideas to improve the game from its initial release. I totally agree, for me its the best Snooker game and yes there is still room for improvement. Was hoping for a newer version to be made after 3 or 4 years with more bells and whistles and a deeper career. I've done a few 147's in the game on different levels and it was my goal to eventually get one on Master. Whatever level you can achieve a 147, you still get the same satisfaction as they are not easy. My real life highest break is 49, dont play that much now though, a few times a year at best. Glad you are enjoying the game.

@MrDeanooo 1100!! That's impressive. No wonder you're so good. I've only been playing a year or two to be fair. In terms of game mechanics I think it's very good, physics quite realistic, but I think the "no aiming aid" mode could be much better. That mode is basically unplayable. That's really cool about the virtual world championship, never knew about that. I'm assuming the online community has died down a lot this long after release? I only play offline.

@@BiggyJimbo I used to play the no aim mode in the league, 95% of league players hated it. I played quite a bit of it, some is on my channel. I do agree that it could be improved. One thing i would of wanted would of been an auto centre button for aiming on the cue ball because once you moved your aim, there was no way of knowing the position of what a straight shot would be. I think my highest break on no aim was around the 34-38 mark. I tried joining a random tournament match when i was last on when i did that 147 but could not find anyone. Used to be instant, maybe more play at weekends now but i would imagine there is probably only 10% of people who used to be on regularly. Most just play in leagues now with private matches. I wanted to get back into my offline career so i can get my Platinum, still need another 21 ranking tournament wins and 6 World Championships titles. Just not had that itch to get back into it yet, probably in the new year.
