Gigabyte made an amazing job with the 7000s heatsink, I saw an opened one and the both the thermal pads made great connection between the pieces. That’s why I ordered the 2TB.

They've definitely done wonders with the heatsink design. It's a shame it's hidden inside the PS5, as it looks really cool.

I’m confused between samsung 980 pro and aorus 7000s which should i buy because both are expensive this is my first experience about ssd’s so please tell me which ssd is the best
@OfficialCryptic3 жыл бұрын
Pick which ever is cheapest and make sure it has a double sided heatsink.

@@OfficialCryptic you are using aorus 7000s is it the best ssd?
@OfficialCryptic3 жыл бұрын
They're all about the same. Aorus was just best value in my region

Is it necessary to update the firmware? Because that makes things more complicated and costy.
@OfficialCryptic3 жыл бұрын
No it's not. I do say that in the video.

@@OfficialCryptic Thanks. I did it already though:) Ssd is working well!

The 1tb is 180$ with the heat thing, and the picture say ready for the ps5 do you think I still need to update the ssd? If yes do you think I can go to best buy and they would update the ssd?
@OfficialCryptic3 жыл бұрын
If it says ready for PS5 on the packaging then don't waste your time updating the firmware. Just put it into your PS5 and enjoy the extra storage space.

if I update the drive will it delete my games that already installed?
@OfficialCryptic3 жыл бұрын
No it won't delete them. The update saves to the flash controller chip not the memory chips where your games are saved.

@@OfficialCryptic thank you!

you don't even need that much space, games are not big on PS5 due to Kraken tech
@OfficialCryptic3 жыл бұрын
You'll need extra storage. Kraken is great but not all developers are able to keep their game sizes reasonable. COD, Cyberpunk etc are prime examples. Whether you'll need 500gb, 1tb or 2tb is up to you and how and what you play.

For me I like to keep my games on the SSD, and not constantly delete/download them
