I have both PS5 and Xbox, I own all PlayStations , but ngl Xbox is far superior than PlayStation, first of all on Xbox Gamepass we have early access to the games, second we can literally emulate any ps1, ps2 , Nintendo 64...etc in Xbox with devkit mode wihout break encryption or jailbreak like ppl do on playstation. Another thing games are more cheaper on Xbox I can buy games for any country that I want and pay less so with this I can buy like 30 games with just 50$ on playstation you pay 50$ for one game and you cant refund it. Another thing that I love on my Xbox Series X is the backwards compatibility on playstation you need to pay ps plus premium to play ps1, ps2 and ps3 games, then you play them by cloud that's sucks asf. Also Xbox Series has quick resume I can switch between up to 7 games that are loaded in background even though if I shutdown Xbox and turn on again they still are on quick resume (quick resume allows to switch between games fast without the need of opening the game again and seeing again the intros) So in conclusion I was a PS guy for 18 years but Xbox with their acessibility of game sales and subscriptions and with a OS based on Windows 10 allows me to do everything I want , in the other hand PlayStation is getting expensive and not giving good games also their OS based on Linux (FreeBSD) is very limited.

Sony is doing the best right now with their PS5 and now PS5 Pro. I own both systems but I play the Xbox more than the ps5 because of the backwards compatibility that the Xbox have. I can go back and visit my games from back in the days and other things. The Xbox does that PS5 can't do like the emulator. You can play Nintendo 64 games PS1 PS2. Take a Dreamcast can't do that on PS5 but I still love both systems the PS5 It's more popular but it's just a name. Xbox is better more bang for your dollar. You wouldn't know until you actually own one in compared it yourself. Stop looking at the names xbox's name brand too
