good video, just did a big grading submission for my cards too didn’t go through PSA but went through a local New England grading company called TGA. The big card I personally brought to them to get graded was similar to your green PMG from 21-22 except mine was actually Crosby and the fact that your card got a nine is making me a bit more excited about how it will grade. Also got some cheap Bedard rookies graded, and some stuff for my PC as I also had a few. poitras rc in there too.

Nice returns! I never noticed Whitney behind Crosby in that first card. Agreed on the Seismic gold Peterson. They look more like bronze vs the other years gold. Great cards!

I graded that same Slater card, as he was from my hometown of Lapeer, MI, and it came out a PSA 8 as well. And 100% on cleaning before grading. Always love the videos!

Nice McDavid Red Prism Marquee Rookie 👍. I got back a PSA 8 at Christmas. Unfortunately mine has a couple print lines on it. Regardless, like you I'll be keeping it as part of the collection for many years to come.

very nice - I recently acquired a 1980 Wayne Gretzky OPC 2nd year - PSA 9 - but the back says printed by Topps. This is the first I ever seen like this. What are your thoughts on this?

What’s wrong with cleaning a card? It is not changing the original manufacturing of the card. Sometimes there are smudges or residue or fingerprints. Love all the Crosby cards. Your grades were great. The vintage cards were beautiful.

The Moran is lower than expected value-wise, these typically go under the $500 threshold for an upcharge.

Seeking advice from anyone… new to collecting (Bedard fomo 🤦‍♂️😡😉). To get my Bedard y/g PSA’d, they’re asking for roughly $200. for a timely return and/or bc of potential high value. If my card is a 10, or even 9, guess it’s worth getting graded for that price, right? Or should I pick a cheaper grading option and wait/hope? Also, what’s the chance of someone swapping my mint card (imo), for a lesser graded card and then mailing me back an 8? Thanks in advance ✌️

There is absolutely no chance in hell that your card is going to be swapped at PSA. I’d recommend sending at a service level like Value Plus and if you get upcharged-you get upcharged. Unless you’re absolutely certain it’s a 10, definitely submit at a lower price/service level.

I think they do. Mine isn’t a 10, I knew it wasn’t a 10 when I sent in.

@@MainelyHockeyCards i have over 100 mcdavid rookies- most look pretty perfect- some have centering issues- i send them in 5 card batches with other cards- portraits get 10’a the others get primarily 8’s and occasional 9
