@@Saplingbat there are currently 3, you can get 2 of the rings and one of taikobou’s tapir. You can get a total of 30% buff removal res and a lot of my runs are rnging with that.

So I don't think 15% is that much, and that's not terribly important. What it does do though is make Boudica a very useful support if you can apply the trait. Thats a 60% damage mod being applied for 3 turns. Thats pretty hefty, and anyone can use that.

I don't know why, but this card really gets a chuckle out of me. You beat them up until they join you as a fellow roman, which only makes you want to hit them harder.

I think this goes even furhter beyond what is mentioned in the video. Since anyone with a open cc slot can use it, it makes Boudica one of the strongest f2p dmg supports in the game. She gives the servant with this cc and honestly the whole team basically another 110% dmg steroid from her first skill with no drawback beside using the skill when you get the face card. Before this cc you needed super roma to run this comp. Now every servant can abuse boudica anti roman synergy. And that is on a 3* servant with really low party cost.

The downside is that it's only one CC. Which means that only 1/15 cards drawn will have the debuff you want. Better pray it's not on turn 3 or you're gonna be wasting time and buff duration (if you buff early expecting Boudica to die very early) until then.

​@@manafusion depends on how you build the team. Like you could just plugsuit her in when the CC appears(which you will obviously have in the DPS for the 15% damage of the CC itself). and in turn 2 if you counted the cards you can already predict that it will be in turn 3 so can adjust things for that turn. There is RNG but honestly can be worked around. also it doesnt have to all be min turns... Boudica has some survivability too between the guts and her NP basically being Mashu's(a bit weaker though)

The good thing is that the Roman trait lasts for 5 turns, so the only issue should be applying the first one. After that, it's on Boudica's skill CD to keep the damage up.

There's a lot of CC that give bonus dmg against Dragon Trait, this way you won't be restricted to Georgius to use those.

This almost feels like an oversight. From how the code is worded, where you do 15% more damage to Roman enemies THEN it describes it adding the trait, you'd think this was designed to be sort of a ramp-up effect where after the first hit, every subsquent hit will get the 15%, and would just be extra good for people that did have the roman niches. As it stands, with the effects flipped, it's just absolutely bonkers. I'm not complaining though, Romulus is fucking sick and the code just represents that. Maybe optimal effect sequencing too, is Roma.

Wait, it applies the Roman trait BEFORE damage?!? Based on the ordering of the wording, I assumed it would be the other way around. That's actually insane, especially for solo units who can guarantee their own cards every turn (which also makes them great for Honey Lake + a Burn CC on top of this easy 15% damage boost). I can't wait for this to arrive on NA now.

This command code opens the doors to great setups and future codes. I mean codes that apply traits can turn various servants into absolute monsters. And that's great. Let's get some command codes like this into the game. A way to make things even more fun if you take advantage of it.

I just had to go check on atlas what the debuff chance on that Roman Trait Debuff is and it's only 100%, not the pseudo-hard guarantee of 500%. Still kinda insane.

I thought this would be a much more in-depth look of the CC. Like how it would affect people like Boudica with her 60% attack up vs Roman. Instead, it’s only an announcement that the debuff would apply before the damage. Not to mention 15% increase for a single card that isn’t the NP is nothing special. What’s a disappointment, I was expecting something more insightful, but this is just shallow.

It actually won't be good on him since it will only add a diluted amount to his own damage mod You're better off using utility CCs or star gen ones

If its like 15% per card, then if i solo with romulus then each turn for 5 turns i can stack the trait and be able to 5*15 roman debuff on the enemy?

no the 15% dmg mod isnt a debuff its a buff to your card it doesnt stack. The Roman trait stacks but not the damage its just tied to the card.

A 15% damage increase is pretty poor for a 5* Command Code, no? Most single-trait damage amps give a minimum of 20%, and the ones below 20% have a secondary effect. I know this one is self-activating, so it's a good generalist CC, but the anti-alignment and anti-gender ones provide more damage outside of exceptional circumstances. If we went back in time to when CCs cost resources to detach and move around, I could understand valuing how general-use this one is, but... changing your CCs is free now.

It activates before damage apparently, So whatever card you put it on is just 15% stronger. How is that "30 special damage"? It's one of the strongest codes we've gotten to date.

no give the CC to the damage dealer that will be supported by boudica since it has 15% dmg increase on the card itself against romans which will add on top of boudica's buff(60%) and do 75% bonus total(+ 50% with crits because the skill gives roman damage and crit dmg)
