Start to teach them the Word of God now and you'll see the fruits in the future. Proverbs says teach a child in the way they should go and when they grow up they will not depart from it. Very simple, there is a saying in an African Proverb which says fold your fish or make it they shape you want when it's still raw, when it's dry when you try to fold it, it will break in the middle. That's how it is to try to teach a young Adult the Word of God whose been listening to holywood all the days of his life.

I was in awana!!!! So in college I memorized some longer psalms..... when I'm confused and tempted astray, I remember psalm 19. And it gives me reverence, desire, and obedience to the Lord. Beautiful.

Pastor, once again God has worked through during this study, thank you. Just a note, God can use any means to help us, counselling can be one of those means. Mental ill health is a tortuous, hell on earth experience which is so debilitating that Christian sufferers struggle to even pray let alone study the word. Good counsellors have been used by God to aid the healing of and save the lives of many of our brothers and sisters. Glory to God. May he continue to use you.
