What happened to Ps 119 part 17?

Much of what is said here is very good. However a couple things are unnecessary or just plain wrong. I am totally speculating but in my perception it appears the teacher is afraid of turning off the average xtian. One is "legalism", a speculative concept at best. The other is near the end where the ending verse states grant me understanding and i will live. The teacher has to 'splain this isnt salvation... Can someone "enter eternal life" and not be "saved"? Can one be "saved" and have "entered eternal life"? Where does jesus accredit eternal life? "If you want to enter eternal life, keep the commandments" The speaker of Psalm 119 isnt dead. The life he is speaking of is the life of the world to come.

Proverbs 6:23 The commandment is a lamp and instruction a light; corrective teaching is the path of life Who does jesus say rises to LIFE? Thos who DO GOOD. John 5:29 Those who did good things will come out into the resurrection of life, and those who did wicked things into the resurrection of judgment

Parker Baruch has almost the entire Bible word for word from Hebrew and Greek directly into English. You will be blessed to watch a few more videos or audio. May the Lord bless you.

@@coachshort8940 so do i. Chumash, tanach, interlinear... multiples. But this stuff is all free and easily available from so many websites. And i know how to read and not rely on someone explaining something away. I have also listened to other videos from this teacher and in others i jave also noticed the tendency to go with mainstream xtian theology against what the text says. I encourage us all to learn and grow in the commandments so we dont hear "depart from me workers of lawlessness" as we are warned. Follow the statutes of life Ezekiel 33:15 if the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has stolen, and walks in the statutes of life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
