A Psalm a day keeps the soul stable. Especially if read out loud.

I experienced that even as a Christian, that there are times where I say "No God, I want my way". But God is so gracious to guide me to the right way!🥺🙏

Truth is that's what we're born into sin darkness. Darkness hate the light. It takes the Lord to draw them like He drew us.

I'm a Christian with a Baptist background, it's a blessing to go through God's Word here. I get the sentiment on loving ourselves 'we serve who we love' truth in that surely. Part of obeying Jesus' commandment in Matthew 22:39 is loving our neighbor as our self, so we must have love for our self in being obedient to God, in being able to give love to our neighbor. I relate what you conveyed on loving yourself in this study to 1 Timothy 6:10 the scripture emphasizes that it's the love Of money that is the root of all evil, as similar in context to 2 Timothy 3. It's the love Of self: over our neighbor, over God; selfishness that robs us of God's best for our lives, and those around us.

Amen, what a wise statement its also noted that many that love themselves destroy others and themselves in the long run cuz they are focused on flesh which leads you down a bad path

Abba Father, thank you for your faithfullness in my deliverance!! In agreement with this message I loosen ephesians 5:11, ephesians 6:17, psalm 107:14, john 16:13, numbers 32:7, psalm 14:6 and psalm 55:9 to loosen, cast out and cut off one of all kinds of frustration to take possession of the land the Lord intended for me and loosening myself of all rejection of the almigthy Lord in my life upon no return in my life, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

I think this pastor is wrong when he says a person knows in his heart there is a God. I grew up in a Christian church and when I was able to think for myself, in my early teens, I believed in my heart that there really wasn't a God. It was just something people used to rely on and hope for, because they were weak and didn't have enough of their own strength to get through life. I thought they were the fools to believe in something they couldn't see and couldn't prove, so how foolish is that? The Bible was just some big fictional tale to keep them under control. I really truly believed there was no God and I did not know in my heart there was until my late 30's. I cannot really say what changed my thinking except that God had mercy on me and sent the Holy Spirit to work in my life. Praise the Lord!

Romans 1:19-20 (NIV): "Since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse."
@fashionbeautytiktok59932 күн бұрын
You are without excuse that you did not know God, you just chose to not acknowledge Him.
