Psalm 23 Motions Used In This Video
Psalm 23 (pretend to play an instrument)
The LORD is my shepherd (point up with both hands)
I shall not want (shake your head “no” and pretend to grab at things with your hands)
He makes me lie down in green pastures (rest your head on your hands like you’re sleeping)
He leads me beside still waters (wiggle your fingers like flowing water)
He restores my soul (put together something that is broken)
He leads me in paths of righteousness (move your hands forward like the sides of a path)
for his name’s sake (point up with both hands)
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death (walk in place)
I will fear no evil (shake your head “no” and make scary looking claws with your hands)
for you are with me (smile and flex your muscles)
your rod and your staff (pretend to hold a rod and staff in your hands)
they comfort me (bring your hands in to give yourself a hug)
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies (pretend to set things on a table)
you anoint my head with oil (pretend to pour oil on your head)
my cup overflows (move your hands up and outward like water overflowing from a cup)
Surely goodness and mercy (make a thumbs up with each hand)
shall follow me all the days of my life (move your thumbs forward in a walking motion)
and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD (use your hands to form a roof over your head)
forever (spin your hands around each other over and over)
