God delivered me through Psalm 40. I was listening to psalms as I was laying for sleep and psalm 40 came on and I felt something in my spirit being lifted and I felt the presence of the Lord all around me. Instantly I felt so much better. All burdens I have been hanging on to was instantly gone. Thank you Jesus!

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (January 19, Epiphany 2), Psalm 40:1-11 was our Psalm of the Day. In May 1983, I attended worship at my beloved grandmother's church (Baptist). Her pastor based his sermon that day on Psalm 40.

Lord knows after my temp vision loss 2 yrs ago,was my Spiritual vision missing and both recovered in 20/20! 3John 2 Now,2 yrs later have a clogged ear,past 2 weeks and Holy Spirit shown this past week Isaiah 50:5! The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. ... Only the Lord could have me open and read that verse and now SEE this Amazing video! as I recover🙏Another Ear verse you gave of opening of the ear verse Psalms 40:6! Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Living Commentary This was quoted in Hebrews 10:5, which says, “Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me.” The Hebrews passage makes it clear that this was what Jesus said. Therefore, this psalm is a prophetic psalm. This is Jesus saying that the time for animal sacrifice is over. God gave Him a physical body that would become a sacrifice for sin, to end all animal sacrifice Psalm 40:6
