DUDE! When I first heard this song that's almost exactly what it looked like! I first heard this song live performed by Shane & Shane at Linger 2020(in February, before quarantine shut everything down). In a massive fellowship hall all the lights were turned out except the ones on stage, a near blinding area that constantly cast roaming lights over those in the audience. There were finite walls, yes, but closing my eyes and screaming out the lyrics with the people surrounding me, walls fell away, the percussion and deep base from the stage lifting me from awareness of my body in the way that only music can. At one point I could not stop crying, because I felt like something in that conference had finally broken through to me, at a time when I'm not afraid to admit that I'd been struggling. It is to date the most visceral spiritual experience of my entire life, and even if I experience stronger ones, I know I won't forget this. I come back to this song for encouragement, because where the most eloquent hymns or endearing Sunday school ditties don't say anything to me anymore- if they did at all- a strong song about God's power that becomes a battle cry, a shout of worship that forces all the air out of you, a Psalm that refuses to be ignored? It says everything.

Amazing song. 10.12 am I listened to it this morning.well half of it then ex boyfriend came home from walking my dog. 😢 My cousin Rebecca sent this link last night to me. I googled it this morning and listened to it right away. It made tears. She's into god more. But God keeped me alive many times. 5 years ago almost died. Had Atopic pregnancy. Was misdiagnosed. Had tube and overie removed. The tube ruptured and exsploaded in my hand. I have no parents and struggle with depression and anxiety issues etc.and ibs and endemetrosis. Ibs. Nausia every day. For Yom Kippur we traveled to Lebanon Kansas in 2019, which is the center of America. We fasted for 60 days before going to Center, to pray for our great nation. When we arrived the Lord's Glory and Weight was so evident. There were 16 of us present three homeschool moms and our children and only my husband could make it. We played this song everyday for three days along with other praise and worship songs. When we all felt break through for our nation we played this song over and over again.
