Loved this it's what's been happening to me , si I want because I've seen his faithfulness in the past I'm confident when people falsely accuse me, I'm not asking for vengeance , I have no animosity in my heart for I've asked the LORD to search it and if there is anything I've willingly surrendered it , I know when I do this all I have to do is wait and God does act on my behalf because my heart and motives are right

Yes! I too have prayed in ‘angry hangover’ mode. King David has a way of giving a voice to our hearts. Thank you Jesus, for giving wisdom to Landon and trusting him with your flock.

This is awesome! Loved this breakdown. This year, I decided I needed to "wrestle with God" more. Pray and ask expectantly of him. So, I have just started reading 1 psalm a week and it has been great reading then watching so many takes on the chapters. So encouraging. So much to get from this one in particular. Many thanks

I appreciate what you did here brother, verse by verse. And how you mentioned the word 'steadfast' - remaining faithfully available.

deciding between going through Leviticus / Psalms - maybe just do both ? What do you think ?

When Jesus was teaching , He would teach on one thing at a time. When I study & read the Bible I focus on one book at a time, but that's me. PLUS .. I LOVE THE TEACHING, teaching from your office , Its like you are talking to everyone individually - one on one - Teaching & preaching , I love how you took your time & Walked thru the Words.

I really enjoyed listening to the way you explained things. Makes it easier to understand. I think a lot of people over look God’s wrath and anger and focus mainly on his love. Which is understandable but I think people shouldn’t forget about that side though

Question. I have been praying for some days now, and last night I had a dream where someone tells me to look into my Bible Psalms chapter 5, when i look into it. The person says: is so clear now!! And dissapears. Does it mean that G'd is listening to my prayers ?
@pastorlandon4 жыл бұрын
I don't know, tbh, I would never profess to understand God's ways. That being said - God works in mysterious and wonderful ways and absolutely uses dreams and visions in addition the main avenue of communication which is His Word and His people.

Good point about 'watching' in verse Ps 5:3. Good explanation style. I notice that 'the name of God' first appears in Psalm 5:11 and repeated 9 times over Psalms 5,6,7,8 and 9. Perhaps a 'God centric' theme happening? The 'name of God' is delighted in by the righteous and its a mini theme in these Psalms 5 through 9. I think?

hi I am Christian, and I also have many gay friends (who are amazing and kind to me), since the bible verse psalm 5:5 says you should hate all evildoers, does that mean I should hate my gay friends too? since being gay is said to be a sin. I struggle with this a lot because I don't want to disobey God but I also love my friends and my perspective on this bible verse is a lot different than others.
@pastorlandon4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question Psalm 5:5 does not say that we should hate all evildoers. David is poetically saying that God hates all evildoers. Jesus commanded us to love everyone even our enemies (Matthew 5:44) so of course you should love your gay friends. Pray with and for them, support them just like Jesus would. Hope that helps

@@pastorlandon Not sure how many more Psalm videos you've done, but I've enjoyed 3-5. I'm currently going through Psalms, 1 book per day. Psalm 6 is tomorrow's read. If you ever feel led to do more, especially structured like this, many would be blessed by it.

The Psalm was written by King David, so why are you talking about Jesus?
@johnzarr65902 жыл бұрын
Why are you mentioning Jes- s when the psalm was written by King David? Who the hell is Jes-s anyway? Idolizing Jes-s as G - - is a sure way to make sure your 4 children end up on Depakote & never reproduce. Isaiah 27:1 prophesies the End of Christianity with the Leviathan as a metaphor for Christianity.
