Vers 1:
Waartoe u dus beroemd in 't kwade,
Vermeetle dwingeland?
Ik steun gerust op Gods genade,
En trouwen onderstand;
Zijn goedheid duurt den gansen dag;
Zijn almacht wekt ontzag.
Vers 6:
Maar ik zal als d' olijfboom groeien,
In 't huis des groten Gods;
Ik zal in eer en godsvrucht bloeien.
God is mijn steun en rots;
Op Zijne gunst, mij toegezeid,
Vertrouw 'k in eeuwigheid.
Vers 7:
Mijn God, U zal ik eeuwig loven,
Omdat Gij 't hebt gedaan.
'k Verwacht Uw trouwe hulp van boven;
Uw waarheid zal bestaan.
Uw Naam is voor 't oprecht gemoed,
Van al Uw gunstvolk goed.

As for the translation: these are the verses (KJV) the stanzas are about: stanza 1: Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. stanza 6: But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. stanza 7: I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.
