All my life I always thought everyone’s life was so much better than mine. My parents were illiterate, we were so poor that the first apple I had was a half rotten one I found on the street, and I was a very homely looking girl and some called me ugly. Becoming Christian changed my entire perspective. Although my parents barely could write their names, by God’s grace I ended up speaking two languages and having two degrees. I live in the land of freedom where I am within walking distance from my church. Out of everyone I grew up with, I am the only Christian. God saw me when I was invisible to the whole world. Thank you, God.

I work with an unbeliever. I was stressed because she was getting by with unethical behaviors, while I seemed to be under a microscope. The Lord led me to this Psalm. I didn't quite understand when I read it on my own. Your lesson made it crystal clear. Thank you! I needed this. The Bible is so amazingly specific and detailed. Praise the Lord!!

"Don't look at what the world has...you look at what you have in Christ. In Christ you have everything, because He has everything." Yes! and Amen! 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth-in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. 1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

I needed this. Will have to read again and again. I have had a perspective problem. I need to look at God and not people. What has been going on in world has made it worse. I totally feel the writer. I so understand him. Glad God had him write this Psalm for us years later.

Thank you for this I understand the scripture more now and if it did anything it gave me more knowledge and understanding about our life with God it ain’t go always be roses and we may see non believers who are living their best life and they’re rich and healthy but we must not envy them for whatever God has in stores for us is better than whatever they have or had

Thank you so much for this. I have Psalm 73:26 tattooed on my right bicep. It is a deeply impactful verse in regards to my testimony and what the Lord has shown me and how He has redeemed me. I am currently in a room filled with 6 other Christian men who are currently serving on the production team at a Christian summer camp. I still find myself in Asaph’s initial headspace as I find much to react to, even in this environment. It boggles my mind to observe the insincerity of many people even at a Christian camp where our main purpose should be our reverence to Gods will. Many people carry on with their own agendas and egotistical behaviors. Much to my realization, I came here because I realized my animalistic responses. I’ve been trying to do this on my own for far too long and I can’t take it anymore. I need to once again recognize my portion. I need to once again realize who strengthens my heart and consider all else lost. What needs to matter most is not my degradation of self but my building up of treasure in Heaven when I am in the presence of God. What needs to matter most is the place I have with Him amidst those who have listening ears and an open heart. Thank you for this message, I was truly blessed. From A Place of Victory, Tony

Are you sure Jesus went to paradise the same day? I thought he rose on the third day.
@PastorPaulLeBoutillier5 жыл бұрын
Hi Clair. Jesus rose BODILY on the third day. But there is much more to you and me than our physical bodies. They are just a vessel. If you have more questions you're welcome to email me. paul@ccontario.com.
@jaygonztx4 жыл бұрын
Depends on what you mean by paradise. There are a few respectable interpretations on what it means. I'm biblically convinced the thief went to be with Jesus in "Abraham's Bosom" (another reference can be found in Luke 16:22 "Lazarus and the Rich Man"), "Abraham's Bosom" meaning the paradise side to "Hades" (LXX trans of "Sheol") - I don't believe Jesus ascended to The Father or "Heaven" until after spending 40 days with his disciples post resurrection. Paul also says in 2 Corinthians 5:8 that he's confident in that if being absent from the body, he would be present with the Lord; Indicating we will be in our Lord's presence- although our physical glorified bodies won't be raised until the Eschaton.
