Psalm 50 goes hand in hand with psalm 91. Yeah those promises give me hope, like Isaiah 55:5-10 KJV 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: I'm like the leper crying out from the edge of the crowd for mercy. Hoping that the Lord will honor His promises, mainly that He will heal my backsliding. Contrasted against His holiness there is no hope without them. Psalm 119 is pretty great, too.

Psalm 91: 14, 15 and 16 are Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him I will set him on high because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him I will be with him in trouble I will deliver him and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation.
