I personally tweak it. I add my bloodline in the prayer. I call out names. I don’t use lord, I use The Divine or The Great Mother. You don’t have to be Christian to use the psalms. Psalms is also used in Kabbalah. The bible is a metaphysical book. You have to tweak it for it to actually work for you.

One day when my mother was alive we was riding with my brother in his truck Ford explorer and I was in the back reading psalm 51 and the verse 7 purge me with hyssop and I started smell that scent then I look at the sky toward my right and I seen a two signs one was the star of David in blue next to it was two wings I smile and I said thank you Jesus it stay there for a good while and it went away.

Elemi, I just asked someone to explain Psalms 23!! If I waited a few more minutes, I wouldn't have needed to. I say this to say this was perfect timing. I've had my Bible opened to Psalms 23 on my altar for weeks for my dad who passed away 3 years ago. I've been dying for someone to explain Psalms 23 since I put the Bible down and right when I couldn't wait anymore (because I completely forgot about Google 😂), you posted on the day I couldn't wait anymore. On October 8th my best friend Peggy passed she had a very bad infection went home to the Lord also on October the 8th my mom passed away from liver Cancer at age 90 years old my Dr Otha Myles passed away on October 18th I have was talt by my mom to pray the 23rd psalms every single day and I will be able to get threw another day thank you Elemi I love you so very much you always help me 💜💜
