Such an amazing species! As a Brazilian, I'm so happy that this specific species is on our list of native ones.. Great news from here, Dave. A breeder just found a succesfull way to do individual markings on tarantulas, and that's great news, cause this was the reason we coudn't have those as legal pets in here. Now, we're just a few months of having tarantulas legally available for sale! We will not be able to buy spiderlings or dwarf species, because of the microchip size, and only native species are allowed (about the list I've mentioned before..). We're only at the begining though. That's a huge step for the hobby in here!

Have a checked barometric pressure? Many animals react to atmospheric changes. With all three reacting the same at the same time (ish), it was most likely something that effected the whole collection.

Camera lady showing us how it's done. I imagine if I had to gather spiderlings I would probably end up becoming their new mom and my hair would be their new nest. Very interesting to hear the three ate their egg sacs. Who knows what's going on in are environment and how things can affect everything.

❤ And again an absolute awesome and educational vid! I faced the sling escape problems the other day too. I had a nuctenea umbratica and her offspring in a pot with gauze on top and ventilation holes on the side. The slings couldn't escape through the gauze but the side holes were an issue. First impulse: sticky tape ... then: nah, they'll get stuck. Since I wanted to see what's going on inside I went for cling wrap. It was ok for these super small ones 😅 Now they're all back in my garden. ❤

Where the three female tarantulas located near each other in the room? Because they may be able to communicate with each other so that if one gets upset for some reason the others get upset as well. I actually have seen a situation where it seemed like several tarantulas were kind of testing the waters i guess you could say not with egg sacs but with the need to molt. They all molted on the same day and were all out and paying attention to what was going on before they would molt and basically took turns molting.

Camera lady saying the spider is stretching his legs 😂. Beautiful looking spider. I've had a spider in the corner of my utility room that comes out at night time it hasn't eaten for months and I found a drowned fly in my katkins empty sachet so put it on a paint brush and put it in the spider web , it shot out so fast and wrapped it up and was eating it all night. It must of been so hungry. 😮

Dave, you can't claim 'hero' when you catch 1 of only 2, maybe 3, slings that got away from Camera Lady. Especially, when pulled slings, you had them all over the table at the same time. 😂She got you back, though, when she made you question your count when you were actually right the first time. All kidding aside, it was a great vid! I love seeing so many cute and fuzzy babies as well as Camera Lady doing her thing. I have a💔for the sacs that are no more. As far as your losses, You might want to consider putting your shelving on foam pads. We know that our stocks relate very badly to very low and very high frequencies and also vibration. These are things that humans wouldn’t even notice but smalll animals can react very badly to.
